When I first saw him perform live at the Greek Theater in the early 2000's I became automatically hooked! I can't tell you how many times I've seen him live since then. He's worth every dollar. Then I don't understand the many thumbs down, must be coming from people that don't know nothing about music..
This is one of the SMOOTHEST KEYBOARD players of all time. Joe Sample was also OUTSTANDING. Amazing Brian Culbertson :)
Say that again because I don't think they heard you. Joe Sample R.I.P.
He is good but Joe Sample was on another level
Land OfKem I think Brian has reached that level as well , not taking anything away from Joe .
Brian Simpson,Oli Silk and David Benoit are no slouches
CW very good can listen all night
My mind is still blown by this performance after all these years 🥰
Me too! I watch this so often it's crazy!!!! Or maybe I'm crazy! LOL!!! Crazy for good jazz music!!!
I dig you, he is just amazing! Goin to see him for the 3rd in a row at his Chicago Jazz getaway!!

I've been living under a rock as I just discovered Brian Culbertson! Talented. Thank you, band and all involved. Gives me enjoyment. Takes me back to my childhood in the 60s listening to my uncle, a jazz saxophonist, in NYC and CT
I must have been living under an adjacent rock …..this is out of worldly …..
Pure skill -what music and musicians should be all about!!
Senior year 1980 at DuSable High school in Chicago..i would stay up all night listening to Wally Muhammad on Night Moods.
This is one of many songs he would play.
I'd go to class the next morning so very sleepy.
Couldn't wait for night to come around again so i could listen to Night Moods again.
What awesome memories!!!

I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song ?
This man exactly where did he come from. He is a genius he addresses all areas of music. Will be attending his concert in D.C. I love his work
I just discovered Brian and I am in love! His music is so beautiful and classy. It reminds me of my mother, who sang opera and loved most music. She and my aunt that played the piano/organ, would have adored you. Now me and my sister relish On My Mind and all other classical music you perform. Thankyou
absolutely breathtaking !!!
A fusion of Rock, Jazz, Big Band and that outta site Piano. Thank you TH-cam, with out you I would have never discovered Brian Culbertson!

73 year old broad, feeling the need to enjoy music from my past. Anita Baker, what a talent!
Got to end my day, every damn one--with this one-of-a-kind, stupendous masterpiece by an outstanding artisan of the piano. Only other pianist that can be mentioned in the same breath as him, whom I had the pleasure to see perform live in Alexandria, VA (2004), and met afterwards, is the incomparable Joe Sample. There will be no other. Salute to Brian Culbertson!! I will be at one of his concerts, undoubtedly in 2021--wherever he may perform.
Yes
I listen to this song every night 🌙 got to love it. I've learned how to play it on piano because I love his music for along time.

Roger Smith yeah ... That drummer. Bam.
Roger Smith I’m glad you noticed that as well, I keep listening the the intro over and over.
That was just beautiful. My go-to song before I go to sleep.
Absolutely mesmerizing performance with the piano. He can probably close his eyes and replay the song without hitting any wrong keys.
..and blind, backwards after piano !
His eyes are always closed! lol
Stevie Wonder did that all his life
Brian Culbertson is still one of the BEST Keyboardist in the "Smooth Jazz" world. I first saw him on "Oprah Winfrey" show; back in the day.

Jeffrey Tullis I’m waiting for Brian and his band to come to London so l can see and hear this musical genius Live. Brian plays so effectively, with grace and most of all passion. He just drawers you in. He makes playing the keyboard look so easy, while he gets drawn into the music. Lovely to hear and see someone so passionate in their work.

The sounds that originate from his brain, traveling through his heart and soul, exiting through his fingers, that penetrates our hearts, are breathtakingly beautiful. ❤️🔥🔥
On the head, perfectly said 💯
Brian has soul in those fingers!
I was thinking the same thing. Brian definitely has Soul in him deep down. You can tell the way he feels every note that he plays. Bad ass musician right here.
Very nice and smooth to listen to.
Real vanilla SOUL
I agree, the way he hit those keys in high notes toward the end sent chills down my back.
