I always appreciate it when you talk about your brain goblins, because I'm always trying to overcome my own... haha. For me it's like if I'm in a social setting, if for some reason I say something that I know I shouldn't, I lose sleep thinking about who may have heard me. Even if that person leaves in another country... it's SOOOO ridiculous and my husband is a saint because he always listens to me freak out... 😂 or same, sometimes I feel like I was misunderstood and I enter this spiral of anxiety because I don't want to be misunderstood but then I don't want to over explain myself because what if they start questioning why I'm over explaining?? It's so much fun... So yeah, thank you for sharing with us. It's nice to know we are not alone in this. 😂

My childhood traumatic bee story:
Being like 10 ish maybe, something like that, driving down the road with my aunt, summer time, short shorts on, bee comes in the open window, lands near my lap, me scrambling to get away, bee somehow ends up in my shorts! My aunt slams on the breaks, strips my shorts off on the side of the road and proceeds to fling my shorts around while I sit there in my underwear on the side of the road, traumatized 😂😅

45:11 the matcha comment lol… I always forget how much I love matcha for some reason. If I go to a coffee shop I get an iced coffee and hours later I’m mad I didn’t get a matcha.
For the new plants, absolutely put them in a pot. Use a good organic potting mix and organic compost (look for OMRI on the label). The plants can stay outside but give them some protection from the sun in the afternoon until they're acclimated (give it a couple weeks). When you think they're ready, we're going to slowly introduce them to their new home. If her enclosure gets sun in the afternoon, the best thing to do would be to gradually increase the time the plants spend on the enclosure over 4-5 days. Or just plop em down and see what happens! Just watch the moisture level in the soil. You can add more organic compost on the top every month or so in place of fertilizer. Good luck!! 🌱🌷🏵️

I don't wear makeup most days and if I do it's only spot covering with Almay pimple clearing concealer. It works so good I've been using it for like 15 years. It heals during the day while covering up red spots. 👍

🐈 I’m new around here but I’m loving your vlogs and content so much ❤ Also, I was just diagnosed a year ago with epilepsy and it is really cool to hear someone else talk about it, even if it’s just a small amount. More people need to talk about it. It has been a very isolating illness for me as I had to quit my job and can’t drive right now. Looking forward to watching (and reading) more! 🥂❤

Watching this to calm myself down before my dentist appointment tomorrow, they usually give me laughing gas which causes me to have a bad reaction, so I’m going to try it on a lower dose this time and see what happens. I can’t get by without it because it hurts too much. But feeling very anxious about it. Love you! ❤

Hi! Look into either worm compost or fish fertilizer! If you can find a bag of worm compost it’s easy peasy. Or if you compost already you can get a worm farm and make your own. You can find fish concentrate fertilizer at your local garden store. It STINKS 😖 but works great for all the plants. Not sure if there are any side effects for Ana Beth though, my tortoise knowledge is 0 lol. Best of luck !!

Honestly as someone who has relatively quiet brain goblins (yes I recognize the blessing that is and appreciate it everyday) but listening to you explain things really helps me to be a better ally to my own friends and family who have very loud and persistent brain goblins coming at them all the time. You have a way of explaining that just clicks for my brain somehow.

Dude I just had such a traumatizing experience 😭 I watched this video this morning before work. I was on my way home with my mom and it was pouring rain, like so bad because it's storming. And I saw a turtle crossing the road. I've never seen a turtle in my life in the wild! So I run out of the truck to make sure it can cross the road safely. I notice it's moving kind of weird so I get closer and I notice it's bleeding. Like a lot! Someone must have hit it and drove off. I picked it up and moved it off the road. There was a second turtle on the side of the road waiting for it. I live in such a small town and there's no where around to take it. I didn't know what to do it was bleeding so much. I waited 10 minutes in the rain to see if it would walk off and it didn't move. I'm sobbing at this point and my mom says she won't leave me on the side of the road and so I had to get back in the truck so she could drive me home because she had somewhere to go. I waited 5 minutes after she left and walked back out in the storm to go check on it, and it was in the same spot! His buddy left him. Literally broke my heart into a million pieces 💔 I didn't want him to die alone on the side of the road so I waited with him for 40 minutes in the pouring rain sobbing to this turtle. Literally no one stopped. I must have looked like a crazy person. I tried to get it to move further from the road with a stick. It hissed and snapped at me. I hope that's a good sign and he's just gathering strength 😭😭😭😭
I kept thinking about annabeth and my heart is so broken. I'm so sad. I'm going to rewatch her parts in the vlogs to try and feel better. 😭💜
You are so kind for stopping to help that turtle. I do the exact same thing for them when I see them and I wouldn't have done anything different. Vets that can help with turtles tend to be expensive (in my experience) so it really would be so hard to do something more. I will say, turtles are STURDY. If it was able to walk at all and move somewhat, it probably will be okay! I've seen rescues help turtles that have been hit and lose a leg, dent or crush parts of their shell, and worse. If you couldn't see a source, I would bet someone clipped it and maybe got their leg; which is sad, but not a death sentence! Also, when turtles have been picked up, they won't move away right away when you put them down because they assume you are a predator waiting for them to come out of their shell! So it very well may have been trying to wait you out as well. Thank you for helping the little guy though, that's so kind. 🐢
@oliviareadsalatte oh gosh I don't know anything about turtles! But I hope you're right and that it will be okay! It had a crack on the top side of its shell and was bleeding in the mouth area. But it seemed to have stopped when I left. I didn't even think about maybe I shouldn't have picked it up, I just wanted to get it off the road. Hopefully this feisty fellow will be okay 😭💔

On your plant feralization issue- you might be able to use Fish Emulsion fertilizer! It's all natural, it stinks to HIGH HEAVEN but it's not chemical based, should be tortoise safe since it's literally ground up dead fish LOL

I understand. Balancing staying informed and taking a step back is very difficult yet very needed; I know we have to maintain mental health maintenance to be able to help in the long run. My mom had an infected tooth, and the infection went to her heart and she was in hospital for two months, sooo…. 🤷🏻♀️
She hadn’t been to the dentist for like 20 years though, so most of us should be fine :)
