Making Base Pages - Process Video 7

- Today I am making Base Pages to be used in November for a Hop. I am using Scraps. Some of them I have had in my scraps for a long time. I am using a Various Selection of Background Papers.
Mintay Papers, Reminisce, Bella Blvd, Craft Consortium, P13, Pink Paislee, Paper Studio, Simple Stories, Carta Bella, Echo Park, Martha Stewart, Paper Studio and more.
What a wonderful introduction by your husband…. I loved it ! Your layouts are adorable.

I am glad that your announcer is back. It makes me smile to hear the songs he does for your intro. I used the Elodie collection (just the 12 x 12 papers & die cuts) for my wedding album. Now I am trying to use the scraps & cut apart cards for my youngest daughter's wedding pages. (No full pages left!) I may try making some cards with the leftovers depending on what is left. I have not been brave enough to try base pages yet, but I enjoy watching how others make theirs.
Thanks, about hubby's intro he loves to do the intro. The Elodie Collection is lovely. I was fearful to make base pages too. But I just thought I would only make with papers I still love and designs I would use. November Ginger wants us to do 20 layouts with them. So, we will see how that goes. The 3x4 cards are perfect for making into cards, but I usually cut them up for embellishments. But if I don't use them for embellishments, I think I will make some cards with them. I do want to use every bit of the paper. You may have to find another collection you love to finish your daughter's wedding pages. Or add some other papers you like with them. Thanks for sharing.

Your husband always puts a smile on my face! Your package is all packed up and ready to go (hopefully the post office will take it, as the box is bulging a bit!) as soon as I can get a ride to the post office (most likely before this weekend!), so be on the lookout for it! Love the pages, but I think that the last one was my favorite of the day! Take care and happy scrapping!

Thanks so much Maureen, These were super fun, I think because they are my favorite papers. I thought it would be hard to do Mintay, but I really loved it. I am trying to catch up today. I had food poising yesterday and my sister and her hubby left in the middle of that, had to say good bye from my sick bed. But I am feeling much better today. I want to thank you and some of the other scrapbookers here on TH-cam for sharing all of the videos that you do because I don’t think you realize how much inspiration they give to other scrapbookers/crafters out here in the community!! I have been inspired enough to try making base pages myself even though I was very hesitant to try because I didn’t think that I could do it or enjoy it without the pictures and completing each page in one single go, but I find myself really enjoying the process and it makes me feel so accomplished because I am using all different older paper pads and collections that I haven’t seen or touched in some cases- years!!! Anyway, my hubby and I sent out your package I think it was on Thursday, but you know how slow mail can be sometimes, so I don’t know how long it will take to get to you, but since it’s not going too awful far, I would think that you should be getting it by next weekend! (I hope) I know that I tried to include some items that I’m pretty sure are right up your alley (you’ll have to let me know!), they are they newer things and then I had some duplicates of quite a few things- things that I accidentally ordered 2 of instead of 1 (you’d be surprised about how often this happens to me, it’s actually a running joke in my family about my online ordering duplicates of things!) anyway, just send me a message to let me know when you get the package!

@@ScrappinMaureen Well it got here today. I hadn't even opened the door today, because I was so sick yesterday. My hubby got home about 7:20 this evening and said you have a package. I am glad I didn't see it because it was so heavy! Still a bit weak, so he had to open it for me! I am overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. I gave everything a look through and there are a few things I wanted but had never ordered, I am so excited. My hubby said that's not Happy Mail, that's a Happy Haul!, (he knows all the scrappy lingo, LOL). It is okay that I do a happy mail share video and mention your name? I can't wait to look through it all again, and I will send some to Ginger for her blessings boxes. Thank you so very much!!!!! Also I am so happy that I can inspire, and I hope we like working with the Base Pages, I think we will.
