Osaka Castle wins with its beauty and the fact that it's right in the city and easy to get to. Boat tours would be a super chill way to experience sakura.
The weather is so fickled around this time. Just today there was beautiful sun, then lots of cloud followed by a large amount of rain, thunder, lighting and sun whilst it was raining. It was warm, but now it's back to freezing. It's like Melbourne living in Melbourne. The weather is drunk and confused. As such the cherry blossoms are all over the place. Last year, they were gorgeous. This time round we had a warm snap in winter, so some trees bloomed early. We're not expecting that good of a cherry blossom season this year because of that.
I loveee cherry blossoms! Was so super excited to see them for the first time in Japan a few years back 😍🌸 all 5 places look absolutely stunning but yea the less people the better to enjoy it fully so I like Shukugawa Park and Osaka Castle Park from your video. They look magical 🌸🌸🌸♥️♥️♥️☺️ Great video Lin! - Yen
Avoiding the crowds AND the rain during cherry blossom season is difficult, BUT I know of a few local places that have less people. They're not as spectacular, but I prefer to go there.
Very good Lin once again. Sakura is so beautiful and it would be fabulous to see it in person! I'm lucky that I do have a flowering plum tree in my front yard. It's very full & beautiful that alot of people have stopped in front of our home to take pictures of our tree! Look forward to the next video.
Good video- wish I watched this a little earlier! I'll have to see if I have time to check some of these out. Shukugawa Park looks lovely next to Osaka Park.
thanks for a great video , i have orderd japanese snacks from the internet to eat while watching the cherry blossom videos ,they all looked great but the first one did look crowded
My wish list number one is Osaka park! Beautiful Sakura blossom! I like multiple flower petals cherry blossom! Blooming soon? How about plum flower? Already bloomed?
The plum blossoms at Osaka Castle Park are beautiful. I loved seeing them. The cherry blossoms are also nice and there are usually some shop/food stalls in the park during hanami time.
Here's the forecast for this year. Looks like you might be a bit early but you might be able to see it in Kyoto or Tokyo if you're going there. livejapan.com/en/article-a0001033/

It is stunning, right? Plum blossoms bloomed a couple of weeks ago. Some places still have some.
The plum blossoms at Osaka Castle Park are beautiful. I loved seeing them. The cherry blossoms are also nice and there are usually some shop/food stalls in the park during hanami time.
Good tips, Ali. The food and drink stalls are great to have while enjoying the cherry blossoms.
Osaka Castle was awesome.
Great to hear! I agree. There are so many great places there. 😍
I was working most of the time, so couldn't visit most of these places. Gutted!
Do many of these gorgeous cherry trees bear fruit, or just a few? Thanks for the beautiful vid!
Thank you! These are mostly non-fruit-bearing trees. And if they do, the fruit is inedible. Thanks again for watching.
is it possible to see any Sakura in Osaka from March 15-22?
Here's the forecast for this year. Looks like you might be a bit early but you might be able to see it in Kyoto or Tokyo if you're going there.
