    One tehnical and organizational measure that you can implement to make sure that your ex-employee does not have acces to the personal data is to make sure that he can’t copy the personal data from a data base and keep it in it’s personal terminal. Great video, really useful tips.
    Looking to hear more from you soon. Nota bene: a little suggestion - maybe you can update your video about dealing data subject acces requests, because the guidelines from EDPB changed the general overview about this subject.

    Interesting you reference the Police, I must tell you as a former officer, that you need a very good reason to access PII on individuals you come into contact with, and you always needs a crime reference or investigation to legitimately do a PNC check on someone. Heaven help you if you’re found doing so without good reason, you will be sacked.

      I have heard good and bad views on access to police records, in some cases records haven’t been stored in the central systems which is where access has been less regulated and controlled. Good to hear that the general consensus is that it’s not worth it!
