This Wadi was originally discovered by an Indian expat in the 1970's. He had the help of a local guide. This place was popular among the locals for the crystal clear water and wild honey. My first time here was in 1992 as part of my school trip. We had to trek about 10 km on rough terrian often climbing over stones. Trying yet a very satisfying experience. Since then i have been there a couple of times with family and friends. The geology of the area with the very high ridges is certainly a paradise for the archaeological nerd.
