The Zillow gone wild series has been the most reliably comforting consistency in my life, seeing the notification literally gave me so much serotonin. This series is what I wish was on HGTV just these two trying to sell the houses that’re up for sale but it’s filming their first introduction to the house and they have to try to sell it in their first interactions. That’d be hilarious

one time i was at my lil nephews pool party and this lil girl ran up and told me my eyeliner looked amazing and i was so happy and told her thank you, then she proceeded to spill and drag the shit out of mom's attempts at eyeliner were and I was trying so hard to not cry laugh because i know her momma was prolly in earshot LMAO.

My high school chemistry teacher was obsessed with Twilight and one day we had a lockdown drill so we all filed into her office, she turned on the lights, and the place was lined wall to wall with pictures of Edward Cullen. We sat there the whole 20 minute drill starring at them in silence. She also would wear a sweatshirt almost every day that had the saying "Twilight isn't an obsession. It's my alternate reality." on the back. She was probably 45. This video dug this memory out of the depths of my brain.

I screamed when you mentioned the Edward Scissorhands house. I know the owners, they are really great people and I have been in the house a couple times! They are super passionate about the film and fans/actual people who worked on the film are the ones who sent them all the memorabilia.
I lived in Lutz, when they were filming Edward Scissorhands & I remember my sister used to babysit for a family in that neighborhood. What was unfortunate is that some of the people wanted to keep their houses colorful (like they were in the movie) and they weren't ALLOWED to. Sucks. I would've loved one of those!

that’s very interesting, my experience on acid was very similar to how i feel when i drink. i did it with my friend and we literally had the euphoria moment of sitting inches away from eachother laughing or asses off. i think it has a lot to do with your mindset/mental health of what kind of experience you have. i’m sorry you had that experience tho💕

I'm a southern transplant in the PNW, and I can say that I understand your feelings about the "Angelica from the Rugrats" house. What I've come to learn is that hideous combinations of bright colors painted on houses has to do with island/port town culture. People paint million dollar houses bright primary yellow with primary blue trim and sell the ugly bastards.

Oh my god!!! Someone needs to make an air BnB in big bear that’s an exact replica of the cabin from the original Evil Dead. It’s obscure enough for you just think like “oh this is a nice rustic cabin, but if you’re a big fan like me, you could be living your Ash fantasy in the woods and loving it!!!
I can't stop thinking about the arcade house so if anyone is wondering: The adress is 2189 Sunset Plaza Dr, LA, California, it's visble from google streetview, It's been listed on and off again for 3 years and is still active on zillow as of today. There are more normal bedrooms but the house looks absolutely hideous from the outside and has a really ugly garden with a shed. The price has been rising every couple months and it's among the most expensive houses in that area (price average is 4 million)

My 6th grade (catholic school) science teacher explained to us that basically evolution was accurate and God was involved in evolution and its just presented differently in the Bible. I'm no longer religious btw, catholic school is just crazy and there are moments that stick in my head.
I'm not going to try to make a chart/pattern for a c2c crochet Robert Pattinson toilet cover. I'm not. You'd have to use such a small hook/thin yarn to achieve the level of detail to make him recognizable, so it would take so much time & effort to crochet. Not to mention finding a base pattern for a toilet cover that doesn't just slip off, figuring out if you'd need to sew or weave elastic into the edges...

okay i live in portland and here houses like the one in seattle (4:30) are VERY common. just on my block we have a yellow house, a pink house, a green house, and an orange house. i haven’t spent much time in seattle so i dunno if bright multicolor houses are as common there but i wouldn’t be surprised if it was still p common there. i haven’t seen the inside of that house yet but i personally like the outside n would much rather live in a house like that than in one of these ugly ass boring ass white/grey/silver houses that people are (for some god awful reason) so obsessed with. also, outside of the US there are cultures that do a lot of bright colored exterior work. i highly doubt that person painted their whole ass house that color for attention. there are easier, more effective ways to get attention than painting your house a color you don’t even like.
