    I wanted to say this so companies will see it. If Dr V says …don’t buy it, I won’t. PERIOD I do understand that her support (or lack thereof) isn’t based on the quality of the product. It’s based on the quality of product for black/brown skin. So, if you didn’t design the product for me, don’t be mad when I don’t buy it. 🤷🏾‍♀️. Thanks Dr V for informing the buyer with information. 🥰

      You need to find a new doctor to follow because she is giving a lot of false information. However I want to try theramid vitamin A, my skin loves hpr so like the sound of 0.1% retinaldehyde combined with hpr 0.5%.

    Where does Adapalene (Differin) fall on the spectrum or Retinols/Retinaldehyde's? I use it to help with my acne, but I also would like the other benefits that retinol/retinal provide.

    • @monsutades9999
      @monsutades9999 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Retinal is more for anti-aging. That's what the studies on it were testing.
      While adapalene was tested and made for acne treatment however since tretenoin has anti-aging/pigment evening benefits it would make sense for adapalene to have those same benefits.
      However no direct study has been done on adapalene for the sole purpose of hyperpigmentation.
      If you have acne I would say stick to your Adapalene or try and get a tretenoin prescription if you can as Retinal has not been studied for its anti acne benefit and likely would be less succesful then Adapalene at treating acne

      The delivery system in the ordinary and geek and gorgeous are not very robust. Geek and Gorgeous is a bit better.
      Naturium, theramid and Medik 8 use encapsulated forms so more stabilised. It's likely won't get the exact dose in the geek and gorgeous or the ordinary. My suggestion is to change the brand may be try A game 20 first or move to the one I suggested. Retinaldehyde will help to some extent, but you need tyrosinase inhibitor as well.
