- Hello peachies🍑 If you watched our last video about the 8 makeup archetypes, you might remember the mention of Korean ladylike makeup falling into the elegant archetype.
We did not have the chance to dive into the techniques for achieving this particular look, but today, we've discovered 小春雪酱, a Chinese Makeup Guru who's perfected the art of Korean-inspired ladylike makeup!
小春雪酱's gaining popularity as a makeup influencer on XiaoHongShu for her fabulous looks inspired by Korean trends. Her style features the soft, feminine, slightly mature look that exudes the delicate elegance!
The color palette for this look mainly uses soft coral hues and China's beauty fans on the app now lovingly call it the "honeydew" shades! These soft shades work wonders in accentuating our eye shape, giving off that natural look that perfectly matches the elegant archetype. This makeup isn't just for those aligned with the elegant archetype, it can work wonders for low visual weight beauties as well.

Her makeup really looks like Miyeon from (G)I-DLE. Like, her real face doesn't look like Miyeon but this technique makes her look like Miyeon. I think (G)I-DLE Miyeon's makeup archetype is elegant as well. This is the makeup I'm planning to wear for college graduation 🎓 along with a traditional dress

Can you achieve the same "honeydew tone" with cooler eyeshadow/blush shades? I am neutral-cool olive so warmer shades don't always look flattering on me.

@@Ys_pakistan_natural/ elegant. Both will suit you equally. You can also try combining aspects from both, like elegant eye & lip makeup and natural skin, for example

Hey, quick question. Is there any way I can take attention off my cheeks with makeup (I have acne scarring and I am pretty insecure about it)?
Hey! I would say to make other parts of your face stand out with makeup, like your lips or eyes. Those two are easiest, imo.
But also know that NOBODY healthy/good as a person notices acne scars and detracts beauty/worth from a person due to them. I've learned people notice those things a lot less than I worried they do. And they're not imperfections anyway, they're a part of you and what makes you offer something unique to the makeup world. Eyebrows also frame you whole face, so those are important too.

My biggest thing is less is more, I use a cream concealer (like nars soft matte, a pot concealer) and conceal bigger spots before applying a light layer of foundation and then see what I need from there. After that, just like the other person said, focus on eyes or lips! I loved doing eye looks when I had bad cystic acne, and always felt so much better. Another tip is go light on bronzer/blush over any acne if redness is peeking through, could make it look worse!
But def pot concealer and light layers of foundation and pick a focus for people to look at! Remember you're always still beautiful! Acne is rough to handle, but you got this. ٩( 'ω' )و

you can absolutely, if you're a natural beauty type and your graph scores are quite near to the scores of the elegant beauty type, then it will look especially effortless.
