I wish I was able to get Bioluminescent, unfortunately Zombies camos aren't tracking on any of my MWII guns. Even some Multiplayer camos seem to be bugged, can't get platinum on the BAS-P. lol If this does get fixxed I'll definitely grind it out on all guns, camo looks gorgeous.

I’m 3 LMGs and a launcher away from interstellar and now that I have most weapons leveled up I want to actually unlock borealis… but I just don’t know how to go about playing zombies and what to really do since I’m not even really into warzone so that style of gameplay is a bit foreign to me
I’m waiting for the two new weapons in Season 1 Reloaded so I could finish the grind, cause idk if I wanna try another sniper or the marksman rifles, also since I can get the zombie camos for the MWII weapons, I wonder if I should make some progress for those weapons since I’m almost done with getting every MWIII weapon zircon scale, I could try getting bioluminescence, but I haven’t played MWII alot so I don’t know if I should go for bioluminescent.
All three camos this year are definitely worth going for and I'll be doing every weapon charm in multiplayer and zombies, but man being a long time zombies grinder it is getting pretty boring getting both of those camos. I hope they will bring more content to zombies to provide a more fun way to grind camos instead of just outlast and exfil cheese.
Completed Interstellar & Borealis. Had a lot of fun. Now going for grand weapon mastery for MP, then will return to MWZ for Bioluminescent camo ground to not get burnt out.
Been enjoying tf out this game from multiplayer to zombies to warzone, didnt touch grass for 2-3 weels unlocking borealis anddd interstellar but now that i have them i can finally chill and just play the game with friends, on multiplayer i either play the modes they bring out or search and destroy with friends, so fun i usually just snipe. On the warzone side its extremely fun playing with friends anddd on the zombies side you can either play solo or with friends as well, unlocking schematics ANDDD doing the act 1-3 mission. Theres just so much stuff to do on this game and already unlocked both camos and the bone collector that you get in the final of act 3 ( best slin in the game by far ) i like how you have to grind for it, cant just buy.
I’m about to unlock borealis and interstellar this week, I’m pumped! Then I’ll work towards bio luminescence. Camo challenges are my favorite. When unlocking camo challenges you also get the hang of each gun and how it fires as and how well you are with that specific gun. You become a well rounded player with each gun.
Borealis and Bioluminescent are worth it in my opinion. I did not buy MW2 last year so I started grinding the Borealis camo and leveling all my guns in zombies. For Bioluminescent I had to find all the mw2 weapons around the map and exfil with them. I enjoyed my time grinding both these camos. I really like the zombies mode in mw3. So since I have them both for all weapons, I am currently going for Interstellar.
It took me 1 week of grind in Shipment hardcore, once I unlocked Gold MP camo and got Interstellar 2 days ago. I'm currently going for Borealis at the moment and I did the knives and launcher quickly and unlocked the Zircon Scale mastery camo for them but the rest, I have to do base camus and even if all my weapon are max level, it's still a lot of zombies to kill and time you lost if you do the exfil method. I need to try the Outlast mission but I wonder if it's patched because they patched the "eggs" contract. Best part of camo grind is that it bring XP for seasonal level progression, which is nice !
I started playing MWIII literally during the final 24 hours of Season Two and just finished Borealis last night. I absolutely love the camo and now I can start doing Interstellar.
Felt nice unlocking interstellar in 2 weeks, taking a break and then borealis hours before s1 came out! Started Biolumi a while ago but stopped again. Hopefully i get it some time.
It would be nice if you could Bioluminescent single mw2 guns as they come in and out of the meta Because a lot of those guns are not worth using in other gamemodes
Grinding zombie camos is not the only thing you can do in Zombies. You can: 1. Complete all Acts. 2. Obtain all Schematics. 3. Unlock all Zombie related achievements/trophies. 4. Find all of the Easter Eggs 5. Unlock the weekly After Market Parts in Zombies by completing all Weekly Challenges (they are a lot easier then in Multiplayer) 6. AND unlock all the camos There is plenty to do in Zombies!
A lot of the people moaning are just upset cause it's not round based... which I would argue is more boring as you rinse and repeat the exact same movement for what... a higher round... wow
@@dereksmith3164 after finishing all the schematics, there really isn't much to do. I agree, alot of people aren't giving it a fair chance, but I'd be lying if I said there's any form of replay value. The story missions range from piss easy to extremely tedious (some of the things you need just decide to not spawn when you need them). Once you get the hang of the game, every boss fight is beyond easy. And even grinding camos is significantly less fun than it was in CW zombies with how low the number of zombies is in comparison, especially having to get serpentenite on every. Goddamn. Gun. After sifting through getting gold and plat. And it doesn't help that it lacks any form of personality and all of the enemies are reused from prior games, and maybe slightly changed. There's alot of useless down time if you don't have a vehicle on hand that just makes roaming the map tedious (and why tf is there a fuel system for zombies? I get durability, but fuel? Really? It just bogs the game's pacing down) and everything that seems difficult can be done with relative ease if you're semi competent, unlike many of the older easter eggs (legacy's fortress was beyond hyped up by the community as one of the most difficult challenges in the game, and I did that shit 1st try lmao, just sprinted through the whole thing)
I guess the TLDR version of what Im saying is: If one of the reasons for playing the mode isn't for the sake of playing it because it's fun, then the mode has fundamentally failed. No one plays MWZ for the sake of it, after getting all the schematics, people immediately go to camos and that's that while we wait for the next update. Almost every game I get, people are spamming exfils for mangler kills, that shouldn't be the case at all 💀💀💀💀, but because there's not much to do, there is an insane influx of players who are doing camo challenges that never would have bothered otherwise
@lm_slayer1 I get that they do need to show MWZ some more love in terms of updates. But to say this is used for the sake of camos and therefore is inferior to round based is silly, especially if you search for round based videos here on YT it is people cycling the exact same movement for 100+ levels. How on earth is that exciting? Round based for that reason has never interested me personally into playing it even on CW which is funny as the MP was so bad and the zombies camo actually looked good. If people would've played MWZ properly instead of glitching and coping streamers then the mode would've had longer longevity. But tombstone and people begging for schematics every game defeat the whole point
Got Interstellar first since i got like 7 weapons gold during launch day. Planning on getting Borealis. Thankfully now we got a couple weapons i can skip over and do the weapons i will use mostly. I only play Warzone
For me, it's going to be a large task since I never played MWII 2022. I'm not a great MP player and legit, I'm a Christmas cookie since I got MWIII at Christmas from a friend. The Zombies is an interesting take. I don't hate it but I don't properly love it either. But, it's something different so I'll be trying at the mastery camos this year I think.

On the other hand you have a lot to grind and work towards which means you'll have content through out the entire year to look forward to. You'll never sit there and be bored playing the game wishing you had something to unlock. It also seems like it will take a lot longer then it actually will. I unlocked Interstellar, Borealis and Bioluminescent within 2 months while being in school, studying for exams and hanging out with friends with only the 2 weeks of christmas break to really sit down and grind. Had fun getting the borealis camo, especially since MWZ was still fresh. Was completing all the missions and grinding schematics all at the same time. Good fun. Now I’ve been working on the interstellar camo now in MP (since zombies is boring for me right now, no new content) and im having good fun with that too, mostly because the guns are all leveled up already (did it in zombies) and im currently at 22/36 guns of the last camo challenge (forgot the name) i plan on grinding the MW2 guns for bioluminescent around season 1 reloaded or 2, just waiting to have some more stuff to do so its not much of a grind. I expect it to be fun as i already have the MW2 guns leveled up and i can choose a lot of guns i like instead of using launchers or marksman rifles/snipers.
Got both borealis and interstellar in season 0 and i loved it. Bioluminescent, no. I didn’t fully level the dlc weapons in MW2 because i quit after getting orion and mastery charm + apparition. I came back to mw2 in season 6 for the new Nova nuke skin but i literally just played warzone with my old loadouts. If you didn’t level the dlc guns for MW2 to the max they won’t track in MW3 zombies even though you level them up. This is a bug that happened after the release of s1. It was doable during s0 but i spent two weeks getting borealis and interstellar and then went on vacation. When i came back none of the MW2 dlc weapons tracked for me. I’m not using any of the rocket launchers ever again😂😭
I really don't like how they've been trying to phase out round based zombies since BOCW. Dark aether still remains my only mastery camo I've completed given how fun it was to do especially in October. Borealis feels like a slog not from the hard challenges but from the fun level of the mode to begin with. Imo every season should get a new zombies map, but every other season it should be round based that way both MWZ and classic zombies players enjoy the Borealis grind.
Honestly in my experience with mw3 so far I just got interstellar. I wanted Borealis but the zombies mode just set me back. Too many hours, too much setup, and I got the chance to use shipment 24/7 and double xp before and after Christmas. I unlocked that (since I didnt have weapons leveled up) in about 1 week. Im not investing 8 hours a day or more to this game as it gets tiring. Back in the Cold War I invested in the zombies camo grind because it was really pretty and better (in my opinion) than the multiplayer one (if any of u remember the office grind u ogs). But now, feels like this zombie is only for setup. At least at the beginning. Feels like i have to invest 8 hours just to get every schematic and everything so that I can be able to just plug and play. But its so slow, the weapons XP is a total mess capped, tried going for camo on a sniper had 3 runs where I actually died, some may say get good but i dont wanna grind in a game mode that makes u play more just bcs. The nerfs in the zombies mode then rlly pissed me off. I get it its easier than multiplayer but it doesnt feel that way. For a casual gamer, that shit feels more tedious than actual work. Its not fun. Setting up for a game takes another game, requires so many goddam items, and the warzone style is horrible. I went for Interstellar cause it was easier time wise. Struggled with some but at least I wasnt forced to play by some rules made just to pad the runtime of a game mode. So much unnecessary shit in Zombies, makes the Cold war one look like a gem.
The cold war grind is way better. The issue with this zombies is you have to have most of the schematics unlocked which takes a long time in order to be able to just load up and grind. It took me the entire borealis and most of the bioluminescent camo grind to unlock all the useful schematics that are needed for camo challenges. There are easier ways to earn schematics but beating the world bosses and the act 4 missions but I didn't care to watch tutorials and learn how to do them. They are easy to learn and do I was just too lazy to do so because by the time they were release in game I was close to finishing the grinds anyway.
I unlocked Borealis and I would like to go for Bioluminescent, but as MW3 is the first COD I have ever purchased, I do not have most of the MW2 guns leveled. This is due to my adult sons getting me into WZ over the summer and I wanted to be ready for WZ3. As I'm not good at PVP, I used Zombies to level guns and got hooked. Now my issue with MW2 guns is that the camos for unleveled guns are bugged, at least on PS5. As I level the guns and are able to grind the requirements, they don't track for some reason. I hope they get this figured out in a future patch as I would like to grind out the Bio camo.
Got borealis 1st week Took a break till earlier last week Did interstellar I want bio but didnt play MW2 and most of the camo challenges are broken. If they fix i probably will end up playing again for Bio but not really needed unless you are a true grinder/fan

I love Borealis, in ONLY Game Time i got Interstellar in 3 Days and 9 Hours and Borealis in 3 Days and 2 Hours. Orion was much Longer last year and Bioluminescent looks nice, but the amount of weapons is holding me back right now. I don’t know, maybe I do it - but only grinding Zombies day for day. Maybe doing it as „side quest“.
I know I won’t ever get interstellar because some of these challenges are too difficult for me (skill issue I know) but after getting borealis and bioluminescent for everything it was definitely worth it, the camos look awesome and would love to see what camos treyarch come up with in the next black ops
I usually hate zombies but have almost completed the Borealis grind due to the open world zombies. This zombie mode has been a massive breath of fresh air that I'll definitely be doing Bioluminescent
I’ve done ARs, smgs, melees, brs in like 4 days gold alongside working and gym etc, then I just need to level two pistols and a few of the marksmans, snipers and some shotguns. Defo a grind but the camos so smooth and worth it.
i have made a discovery there are TWO bioluminescent camos, one you unlock by getting the fr avancer to level 13 and getting 30 crouched kills with it, the other you have to complete 51 arachnida challenges
Wish they fixed Biolumen bug with some MW2 weapons not tracking. If you didn't level any MW2 weapons prior to season 1 launch then it won't track your progress. this is a known bug and hope it gets addressed soon cuz there was some cool weapons they added in MW2 that I missed
Initially I DID say screw Bioluminescent(I didn't play MWII is why). but now that i'm done Borealis and Interstellar... Zombies just feels dry :/ I'd do it purely just because the MP5 (Lachmann Sub) can't use Borealis/Interstellar
I'm torn. I don't mind the camos for the MW3 guns however I really like the Arachnid camo for the MW2 guns. I guess I'm just debating on if I want to since well MW2 guns aren't that great. I just wish I could have it for the newer guns that I mostly use anyways since it's MW3 after all
For me it was definitely worth it because I was able to use the camo swap glitch before it got patched to put Orion and bioluminescent on all my mw3 guns and interstellar and borealis on all my mw2 guns always have people picking up my guns in multi and wz

Short answer yes. Long answer, I'm starting up school again after the winter break so I will be busy. I'll still be grinding ultra mastery. I'm 3/36 for multiplayer and haven't started on anything else. I'm also unlocking the orion camo on mwiii to make a updated guide for this game. For the zombies ultra masteries it's something I'll be saving until after school is over in April as a summer grind.
Not gonna lie, it kinda feels like I’m apart of a club so that the grind shows the effort I put in to get the camo is dope and also the color looks super fire, I would do intertsteller but with how bad the Sbmm is I wouldn’t stand it 😂
I think Borealis is worth the trouble if you already have 36 MW3 guns maxed since the process of levelling with the intention of doing mastery camos is very painful (slow and tedious in zombies, brain numbing and frustrating in mp), or at least the majority of them since the purple and cyan color combo is really nice. But personally I don't think Bioluminescent is worth it considering you have to do 51 MW2 guns and it's not an outstanding camo- like it's good, but nothing spectacular.
Vanguard, my guns were all bugged. I moved to one gun and the camo was bugged. moved again, camo bugged. ended up giving up. Black Ops 3 and IW were the last games I got camos for. Point blank kills were impossible but interstellar was too easy.
First time ive gone for mastery camos and i already havw all the mw3 guns leveled up im working on platnuim cause i love how interstellar looks, ill prolly do borialis but in my personal opinion bio luminescent doesnt look that good so o wont even think about it
Was doing borealis grind til my zombies game hit a huge lag spike, 6000+ ping, & then lost on my gear. That pretty much killed my motivation, now I gotta grind out another hour or two just to get back to where I was. We’ll see if I go back to it

I would do Bio but I don't have the energy to level up all the mw2 weapons. I do however have Borealis, I'm going for interstellar next. Luckily all the weapons are maxed so I don't have to grind to max them out again.
Completed the borealis camo grind about a month ago with little to no cheese involved. -no spore contract milking -no exfil camping -only ran the clock up and down on a couple outlasts to get disciples -no farming off of other's contacts and interfering with their goals. Took me a little longer but the sense of accomplishment was there for sure.
I'd only say biolum isn't worth it because most people are probably never going to use MW2 weapons in multiplayer or zombies just because they're worse than MW3 weapons. Until they buff them so they're equal, I don't think it's worth
Mw2 orion was easier i disagree with that for the sheer number of weapons you had to level up i gave up after hitting plat yet i got interstellar 1 day ago so i think interstellar was easier because of the amount of weapons and the challenges were easier in general
Have all 3 mastery camos once you get the hang of zombies you can farm them by doing spore contracts etc and with the amount of tombstone glitches people are doing there it's alot easier than you think and with the fact shipment it constantly put on mp it's never been easier I got the mp camo in 2 days played and with both the zombies in 6 days game time

I never bought MW2 after playing the beta, because I genuinely thought the game played like ass. Rn, in MW3, Im done with interstellar and only have 2 guns left for borealis. Although, I am considering getting orion and bioluminescent on the MW2 guns (considering I don't have to do launchers because of the DLC weapons, it sounds like it COULD be fun, while giving me something to do). What do you think? Should I go for it? (PS Im starting uni again soon, and I finished both grinds in winter break, so the MW2 ones are gonna take me waaaaaay longer)
3-4 matches for 1 gun? And each game is like an hour long? Idk how that’s even possible I finish 1 gun in about 35 mins on average 2 games sometimes if I’m doing other side things while I’m going for the camos

While I think it would be nice to use it on MW3 weapons I don't think it's necessary. It's nice to have game exclusive camos, I would agree if you had to complete a grand mastery challenge in order to use camos across games. An example would be if you want to use Borealis on MW2 weapons you need to unlock all 4 mastery camos and that's a final reward.
I am unlocking Orion for a second time but am still unsure if I will do a camo guide for it as the original guide for mwii still stands. The only difference is maps in mwiii.
Most people already know about it and are just waiting for the fix. Just in case you didn't know the issue is because even though you are leveling up weapons this season and unlocking attachments. The camo challenges aren't properly being unlocked.
i want the borealis camo but i have never played zombez and no idea what get "get 250 kills while having the gun at rare rarity" means and 99% of other challenges

I completed the Bioluminescent grind this afternoon. It’s not really worth it tbh but I had to complete everything. I completed the grandmaster grind in MW2, so I will probably be going for the mastery grinds for MP/Zombies.
I getcha. I did it all just to not even use the mw2 weapons in zombies. Mw2 weapons aren’t really meta but manageable in zombies. So I definitely recommend Borealis on mw3 weapons an interstellar

Well, i dont think I'll get that far. I'm back in the shadowban loop all over again 🤦🏻♂️ Had it in mw2019 (shadow from monday-friday, could play on weekends, then shadow again), mw2 (first 3 months went well, after that the same thing as in mw2019), mw3 (15h playtime, first shadowban last night). Important: this is all on the same account, so they shadowed my account for almost every day in the last 3 years, except the weekends with absolutely no reason (because obviously there's nothing to permabann me about). I'm a 1,4-1,8kd player, so average I'd say, I dont get it. I dont even know why I'm writing this stuff down, i needed to vent

The issue is a bug causing players to be unable to complete camo challenges on weapons if they are leveled up within season 1

Borealis was worth it IMO.. I don't see too many people with it yet so it's nice.
That is a nice perk of having the camos this early. I think it will be a common camo in 5-6 months from now but even then it's a great camo.
Honestly I see a lot of borealis camos in my games compared to interstellar

I started playing MWIII literally during the final 24 hours of Season Two and just finished Borealis last night. I absolutely love the camo and now I can start doing Interstellar.
Felt nice unlocking interstellar in 2 weeks, taking a break and then borealis hours before s1 came out! Started Biolumi a while ago but stopped again. Hopefully i get it some time.
You'll unlock it, take your time and enjoy the game.

It would be nice if you could Bioluminescent single mw2 guns as they come in and out of the meta
Because a lot of those guns are not worth using in other gamemodes
Grinding zombie camos is not the only thing you can do in Zombies.
You can:
1. Complete all Acts.
2. Obtain all Schematics.
3. Unlock all Zombie related achievements/trophies.
4. Find all of the Easter Eggs
5. Unlock the weekly After Market Parts in Zombies by completing all Weekly Challenges (they are a lot easier then in Multiplayer)
6. AND unlock all the camos
There is plenty to do in Zombies!
A lot of the people moaning are just upset cause it's not round based... which I would argue is more boring as you rinse and repeat the exact same movement for what... a higher round... wow
@@dereksmith3164 after finishing all the schematics, there really isn't much to do. I agree, alot of people aren't giving it a fair chance, but I'd be lying if I said there's any form of replay value. The story missions range from piss easy to extremely tedious (some of the things you need just decide to not spawn when you need them). Once you get the hang of the game, every boss fight is beyond easy. And even grinding camos is significantly less fun than it was in CW zombies with how low the number of zombies is in comparison, especially having to get serpentenite on every. Goddamn. Gun. After sifting through getting gold and plat. And it doesn't help that it lacks any form of personality and all of the enemies are reused from prior games, and maybe slightly changed. There's alot of useless down time if you don't have a vehicle on hand that just makes roaming the map tedious (and why tf is there a fuel system for zombies? I get durability, but fuel? Really? It just bogs the game's pacing down) and everything that seems difficult can be done with relative ease if you're semi competent, unlike many of the older easter eggs (legacy's fortress was beyond hyped up by the community as one of the most difficult challenges in the game, and I did that shit 1st try lmao, just sprinted through the whole thing)
I guess the TLDR version of what Im saying is: If one of the reasons for playing the mode isn't for the sake of playing it because it's fun, then the mode has fundamentally failed. No one plays MWZ for the sake of it, after getting all the schematics, people immediately go to camos and that's that while we wait for the next update. Almost every game I get, people are spamming exfils for mangler kills, that shouldn't be the case at all 💀💀💀💀, but because there's not much to do, there is an insane influx of players who are doing camo challenges that never would have bothered otherwise
@lm_slayer1 I get that they do need to show MWZ some more love in terms of updates. But to say this is used for the sake of camos and therefore is inferior to round based is silly, especially if you search for round based videos here on YT it is people cycling the exact same movement for 100+ levels. How on earth is that exciting? Round based for that reason has never interested me personally into playing it even on CW which is funny as the MP was so bad and the zombies camo actually looked good. If people would've played MWZ properly instead of glitching and coping streamers then the mode would've had longer longevity. But tombstone and people begging for schematics every game defeat the whole point
Got Interstellar first since i got like 7 weapons gold during launch day. Planning on getting Borealis. Thankfully now we got a couple weapons i can skip over and do the weapons i will use mostly. I only play Warzone
At the moment I’m almost done with Borealis and about a 1/3 of the way through the Priceless challenges. But definitely wanted Borealis.

For me, it's going to be a large task since I never played MWII 2022. I'm not a great MP player and legit, I'm a Christmas cookie since I got MWIII at Christmas from a friend. The Zombies is an interesting take. I don't hate it but I don't properly love it either. But, it's something different so I'll be trying at the mastery camos this year I think.

On the other hand you have a lot to grind and work towards which means you'll have content through out the entire year to look forward to. You'll never sit there and be bored playing the game wishing you had something to unlock. It also seems like it will take a lot longer then it actually will. I unlocked Interstellar, Borealis and Bioluminescent within 2 months while being in school, studying for exams and hanging out with friends with only the 2 weeks of christmas break to really sit down and grind. Had fun getting the borealis camo, especially since MWZ was still fresh. Was completing all the missions and grinding schematics all at the same time. Good fun. Now I’ve been working on the interstellar camo now in MP (since zombies is boring for me right now, no new content) and im having good fun with that too, mostly because the guns are all leveled up already (did it in zombies) and im currently at 22/36 guns of the last camo challenge (forgot the name) i plan on grinding the MW2 guns for bioluminescent around season 1 reloaded or 2, just waiting to have some more stuff to do so its not much of a grind. I expect it to be fun as i already have the MW2 guns leveled up and i can choose a lot of guns i like instead of using launchers or marksman rifles/snipers.

Got both borealis and interstellar in season 0 and i loved it. Bioluminescent, no. I didn’t fully level the dlc weapons in MW2 because i quit after getting orion and mastery charm + apparition. I came back to mw2 in season 6 for the new Nova nuke skin but i literally just played warzone with my old loadouts.
If you didn’t level the dlc guns for MW2 to the max they won’t track in MW3 zombies even though you level them up. This is a bug that happened after the release of s1. It was doable during s0 but i spent two weeks getting borealis and interstellar and then went on vacation. When i came back none of the MW2 dlc weapons tracked for me. I’m not using any of the rocket launchers ever again😂😭
I really don't like how they've been trying to phase out round based zombies since BOCW. Dark aether still remains my only mastery camo I've completed given how fun it was to do especially in October. Borealis feels like a slog not from the hard challenges but from the fun level of the mode to begin with. Imo every season should get a new zombies map, but every other season it should be round based that way both MWZ and classic zombies players enjoy the Borealis grind.
Honestly in my experience with mw3 so far I just got interstellar. I wanted Borealis but the zombies mode just set me back. Too many hours, too much setup, and I got the chance to use shipment 24/7 and double xp before and after Christmas. I unlocked that (since I didnt have weapons leveled up) in about 1 week. Im not investing 8 hours a day or more to this game as it gets tiring. Back in the Cold War I invested in the zombies camo grind because it was really pretty and better (in my opinion) than the multiplayer one (if any of u remember the office grind u ogs). But now, feels like this zombie is only for setup. At least at the beginning. Feels like i have to invest 8 hours just to get every schematic and everything so that I can be able to just plug and play. But its so slow, the weapons XP is a total mess capped, tried going for camo on a sniper had 3 runs where I actually died, some may say get good but i dont wanna grind in a game mode that makes u play more just bcs. The nerfs in the zombies mode then rlly pissed me off. I get it its easier than multiplayer but it doesnt feel that way. For a casual gamer, that shit feels more tedious than actual work. Its not fun. Setting up for a game takes another game, requires so many goddam items, and the warzone style is horrible. I went for Interstellar cause it was easier time wise. Struggled with some but at least I wasnt forced to play by some rules made just to pad the runtime of a game mode. So much unnecessary shit in Zombies, makes the Cold war one look like a gem.
The cold war grind is way better. The issue with this zombies is you have to have most of the schematics unlocked which takes a long time in order to be able to just load up and grind. It took me the entire borealis and most of the bioluminescent camo grind to unlock all the useful schematics that are needed for camo challenges. There are easier ways to earn schematics but beating the world bosses and the act 4 missions but I didn't care to watch tutorials and learn how to do them. They are easy to learn and do I was just too lazy to do so because by the time they were release in game I was close to finishing the grinds anyway.
9:45 Good news, sledge revealed that in the season 1 reloaded update they will balance mw2 guns to be more like mw3 guns

I unlocked Borealis and I would like to go for Bioluminescent, but as MW3 is the first COD I have ever purchased, I do not have most of the MW2 guns leveled. This is due to my adult sons getting me into WZ over the summer and I wanted to be ready for WZ3. As I'm not good at PVP, I used Zombies to level guns and got hooked. Now my issue with MW2 guns is that the camos for unleveled guns are bugged, at least on PS5. As I level the guns and are able to grind the requirements, they don't track for some reason. I hope they get this figured out in a future patch as I would like to grind out the Bio camo.

I love Borealis, in ONLY Game Time i got Interstellar in 3 Days and 9 Hours and Borealis in 3 Days and 2 Hours.
Orion was much Longer last year and Bioluminescent looks nice, but the amount of weapons is holding me back right now.
I don’t know, maybe I do it - but only grinding Zombies day for day.
Maybe doing it as „side quest“.
I know I won’t ever get interstellar because some of these challenges are too difficult for me (skill issue I know) but after getting borealis and bioluminescent for everything it was definitely worth it, the camos look awesome and would love to see what camos treyarch come up with in the next black ops

I usually hate zombies but have almost completed the Borealis grind due to the open world zombies. This zombie mode has been a massive breath of fresh air that I'll definitely be doing Bioluminescent
I’ve done ARs, smgs, melees, brs in like 4 days gold alongside working and gym etc, then I just need to level two pistols and a few of the marksmans, snipers and some shotguns. Defo a grind but the camos so smooth and worth it.
I’m hoping from now on I can use all my mastery camos in all cods

i have made a discovery
there are TWO bioluminescent camos, one you unlock by getting the fr avancer to level 13 and getting 30 crouched kills with it, the other you have to complete 51 arachnida challenges
Wish they fixed Biolumen bug with some MW2 weapons not tracking. If you didn't level any MW2 weapons prior to season 1 launch then it won't track your progress. this is a known bug and hope it gets addressed soon cuz there was some cool weapons they added in MW2 that I missed
Initially I DID say screw Bioluminescent(I didn't play MWII is why). but now that i'm done Borealis and Interstellar... Zombies just feels dry :/ I'd do it purely just because the MP5 (Lachmann Sub) can't use Borealis/Interstellar
I'm torn. I don't mind the camos for the MW3 guns however I really like the Arachnid camo for the MW2 guns. I guess I'm just debating on if I want to since well MW2 guns aren't that great. I just wish I could have it for the newer guns that I mostly use anyways since it's MW3 after all
For me it was definitely worth it because I was able to use the camo swap glitch before it got patched to put Orion and bioluminescent on all my mw3 guns and interstellar and borealis on all my mw2 guns always have people picking up my guns in multi and wz

Long answer, I'm starting up school again after the winter break so I will be busy. I'll still be grinding ultra mastery. I'm 3/36 for multiplayer and haven't started on anything else. I'm also unlocking the orion camo on mwiii to make a updated guide for this game. For the zombies ultra masteries it's something I'll be saving until after school is over in April as a summer grind.
Not gonna lie, it kinda feels like I’m apart of a club so that the grind shows the effort I put in to get the camo is dope and also the color looks super fire, I would do intertsteller but with how bad the Sbmm is I wouldn’t stand it 😂
I think Borealis is worth the trouble if you already have 36 MW3 guns maxed since the process of levelling with the intention of doing mastery camos is very painful (slow and tedious in zombies, brain numbing and frustrating in mp), or at least the majority of them since the purple and cyan color combo is really nice. But personally I don't think Bioluminescent is worth it considering you have to do 51 MW2 guns and it's not an outstanding camo- like it's good, but nothing spectacular.
I'd go for bio if they would fix the mw2 camos not tracking in zombies.

Vanguard, my guns were all bugged. I moved to one gun and the camo was bugged. moved again, camo bugged. ended up giving up. Black Ops 3 and IW were the last games I got camos for. Point blank kills were impossible but interstellar was too easy.

That's a bug in the game right now. Devs have acknowledged it but we have no clue when it will get fixed.

Was doing borealis grind til my zombies game hit a huge lag spike, 6000+ ping, & then lost on my gear. That pretty much killed my motivation, now I gotta grind out another hour or two just to get back to where I was. We’ll see if I go back to it

Completed the borealis camo grind about a month ago with little to no cheese involved.
-no spore contract milking
-no exfil camping
-only ran the clock up and down on a couple outlasts to get disciples
-no farming off of other's contacts and interfering with their goals.
Took me a little longer but the sense of accomplishment was there for sure.
Borealis is. For me I’m not a fan of bio personally but it’s preference
mw19 was my first camo grind and it was like a toxic relationship

I'd only say biolum isn't worth it because most people are probably never going to use MW2 weapons in multiplayer or zombies just because they're worse than MW3 weapons. Until they buff them so they're equal, I don't think it's worth
Mw2 orion was easier i disagree with that for the sheer number of weapons you had to level up i gave up after hitting plat yet i got interstellar 1 day ago so i think interstellar was easier because of the amount of weapons and the challenges were easier in general
Have all 3 mastery camos once you get the hang of zombies you can farm them by doing spore contracts etc and with the amount of tombstone glitches people are doing there it's alot easier than you think and with the fact shipment it constantly put on mp it's never been easier I got the mp camo in 2 days played and with both the zombies in 6 days game time
there’s no way, there’s not enough time in the day to do 18 weapons from base to forged in a day

I never bought MW2 after playing the beta, because I genuinely thought the game played like ass. Rn, in MW3, Im done with interstellar and only have 2 guns left for borealis. Although, I am considering getting orion and bioluminescent on the MW2 guns (considering I don't have to do launchers because of the DLC weapons, it sounds like it COULD be fun, while giving me something to do). What do you think? Should I go for it? (PS Im starting uni again soon, and I finished both grinds in winter break, so the MW2 ones are gonna take me waaaaaay longer)

3-4 matches for 1 gun? And each game is like an hour long? Idk how that’s even possible I finish 1 gun in about 35 mins on average 2 games sometimes if I’m doing other side things while I’m going for the camos

While I think it would be nice to use it on MW3 weapons I don't think it's necessary. It's nice to have game exclusive camos, I would agree if you had to complete a grand mastery challenge in order to use camos across games. An example would be if you want to use Borealis on MW2 weapons you need to unlock all 4 mastery camos and that's a final reward.

I am unlocking Orion for a second time but am still unsure if I will do a camo guide for it as the original guide for mwii still stands. The only difference is maps in mwiii.

Most people already know about it and are just waiting for the fix. Just in case you didn't know the issue is because even though you are leveling up weapons this season and unlocking attachments. The camo challenges aren't properly being unlocked.

Since you can buy these camos for less than a battle pass, you see them a lot more often.

Had it in mw2019 (shadow from monday-friday, could play on weekends, then shadow again), mw2 (first 3 months went well, after that the same thing as in mw2019), mw3 (15h playtime, first shadowban last night).
Important: this is all on the same account, so they shadowed my account for almost every day in the last 3 years, except the weekends with absolutely no reason (because obviously there's nothing to permabann me about). I'm a 1,4-1,8kd player, so average I'd say, I dont get it.
