      We have to eat whole clean foods to have the best food in our bodies. Whatever we do 't grow, we get from a farmers market that has organic foods there. We have a whole cow that we just put into the freezers last week which was local, grazed on grass and hay his whole life, no grain and no chemicals on that property. We just planted our second crop of potatoes, purple sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, corn, cauliflowers, broccoli which should be ready in the fall. We don't use chemicals on our property at all. Food at the stores...the labels are getting scarier. We make our own deli meats, bake bread every other day (we have a bread machine) and we have our own chickens. It certainly not easy to find the best and affordable food to feed the family. Prices on everything in life has gone up. 😕

      No, not too busy. We also work. We do this because I was very ill several years ago, was in the hospital for almost 2 months and in ICU for a month. Once stable, had to have major surgery. Lucky to be here. We try our best to have healthy clean food so it won't happen to my family. We weighed the pros and cons out for us.

    • @stainedglass8401
      @stainedglass8401 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@thisnthattalks1153 at least you can physically get around now, I don't know anyone who would want to be in the hospital over a day. My husband also has been I'll to point of near death. He too is getting his health back and I started using farmers markets for bacon, fresh seafood,and vegetables,fruits,cakes, why I didn't I missed out. But we do now the recall vegetables didn't effect us. The lunch meat we don't want..

    • @thisnthattalks1153
      @thisnthattalks1153 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @stainedglass8401 yes, I can get around. I am blessed. Guardian angels were with me. While in ICU, I could not have an ice chip or eat. They basically had me sleeping most of the time. Recovery was difficult.
      We have 12 in our family, everyone over 18 and his parents as well. A multigenerational home. We filter our water and then distill it, even for our animals. Everyone chips in. I don't trust the water and I don't trust mass produced foods. We bought land far away from large farms. Don't want their chemicals on our land or in our water.

    Hi Danno...this is late but it's been on my mind to tell you something. You have gone over several times where grape jelly was out in some stores, etc. what could be some of the contributors is that in the spring into part of summer the Orielos fly into our feeders and love grate jelly. Some of us go thru an entire large jar in a day during nesting time. We live in a small town and really buy ours from a small Dollar General and they run out too till next shipment.

      It can be caused by the liquid💩 they spray as a fertilizer on the farms. YES, they do that. Then as they harvest and processed, it gets passed around.
