To me this is the best album Cam’ron ever put out! Straight classic. (Purple Haze a close 2nd).
Purple Haze is AMAZING
Imo CamRon’s best work was when he was on Rocafella. Come Home With Me, Purple Haze and Diplomatic Immunity Vol 1 were classics and those was his only Rocafella projects. Even tho Confessions, SDE and Killa Season was fire too and those weren’t on the Roc. Diplomatic Immunity Vol 2 was nice too.

@@ArtisanWindchimes Cam is amazing, but I think he's at his best when he has that major label budget for fire beats and A&R's/Executive Producers doing quality control. Indie cam has heaters, no doubt, but his best projects are def. his major label outings, especially his Roc stuff.
the beat just builds and builds like something epic is about to happen and the cadence in each flow climbs with the beat... the best Roc song ever.. hats off to Just blaze... I read somewhere that on this album just blaze and kanye would go at it... beat for beat to make this album at Baseline Studios.. friendly competition made a classic album that earned Camron his first platinum plaque.. and literally put him on the map map.

To tell you how DOPE Cam's verse was on this: When he did this song (his verse only) on the Verzuz against The Lox, even Jada was singing this and praising Cam for it. If you listen close, Jada knew more of Cam's verse than the rest of Dipset other than Cam.

So if this hasn’t been answered yet: the person who made this beat is Just Blaze. So, not necessarily a “DipSet” beat, but the sound isn’t too different from what Heatmakers used to do - which were DipSet producers. Either way, the Just Blaze/The Roc era was somethin unmatched.
