this chaos to calm challenge has been so eye opening. I always hear “morning routines” & I just think, what habits can I stack together to be the most productive. but thinking about how I want to feel instead of what I should do is something I’m now going to move to. Thank you Jules Acree

The ideas of routines and shifting if something is not working, is a huge game changer. I also really love the idea of not having to do something, but getting to do something. Loved this whole series! Thanks as always, Jules!

I also used to jump out of bed early before 2020 and now struggle getting up. I think that’s normal and having grace for ourselves is important!

Started following an evening routine an hour before bed. Cleaning up the kitchen (I love walking into a clean kitchen in the morning, it's the best), skincare, reading, journaling, praying. No phones or screens. I sleep so much better and wake up refreshed!
Also, I did the worksheet yesterday and was really empowered by it. Thanks for your resources, I'm looking forward to more videos!

What a good reminder to take a critical look at your routines and remember the why. I’m really struggling to determine what I need exactly but I know that calm and content are the end results I’m looking to find. Checking my phone all too often is a big issue. It’s not how I want to spend time that is precious. Time to develop some rituals and strategies that will serve me!

Because of you I (SMM business owner) took January off of social to create new systems, routines and detoxed from things that needed to be stopped. I just want to say thank you so much. I don’t know where or when I found you but I have loved it here since September. This was the best ending to this January adventure. Can’t wait to read the newsletter Sunday. Have a great Saturday. Loved this video soooooo much.

i thought it was really interesting to focus on what *isn't* working and what we *don't* want. a lot of times, I focus on 'what is SHOULD do' and 'positive habits that I want to inhabit.' to start from the opposite is a cool approach to fine-tune what I need to focus on. loving this challenge and how it encourages us to achieve the same concepts/ goals but in different ways

I work at 6am and don't have time to wake up any sooner to have a morning routine. It's been hard keeping up with a routine after work as well because I'm already physically and emotionally drained. This video has helped me realize I should listen to my body more and have rest days and not be so hard on myself for not completing what has started to feel like tasks rather than something to bring me joy and peace. I'm going to find my non negotiables and maybe one day I can habit stack when I start feeling more energized. Ty Jules

I used to be a big morning workout person, but something wasn't clicking for me lately. By the time I would workout, shower, and eat breakfast...it was very much the afternoon lol. I decided to switch to evening workouts and I actually don't hate it! Gives me time to wind down with my routine rather than feel rushed to finish it. Ultimately, if I decide to switch back, that's ok too :)

I'm an end generation baby boomer and workaholic, from home, putting in 10-12 per day. The concept of intention, purpose, and mindfulness is foreign to me but I want to know more so I can take better care of myself. I want more of "me" that is left to be...present...for my family and friends. I'm still learning but am embracing your channel through the process.

I can't WAIT to set up my phone to support the flow of my days! I'm someone who needs the routine to fit weekends AND weekdays, otherwise I find it hard to stick to. There isn't really a clear delineation for weekends in my life because work is flexible and if I'm feeling off on a Thursday I'll just take that day instead and push my workday to Saturday! Thanks for the lovely challenge content ^.^

I also have the simplify and thrive course (highly recommend, it is worth it!) and since I set up my routines a few weeks ago, I circled back to see how the new routine was going, how I was feeling, and if the current routine was working. This challenge was perfect for reassessing what is working and what is not!

Love the idea of focusing on how you feel!! I’ve tried morning routines because I felt like I SHOULD do certain things (wake up super early, exercise, etc), but they didn’t necessarily always make me FEEL good, so I’d lose motivation and stop. Lately I’ve been really enjoying just moving slowly in the morning, getting in a quick meditation and having some time for introspection before I start my day - it feels better than having to ‘achieve’ something first thing. Thanks for the video :)

I normally use an app with my friends with a list of our own habits so we can support each other, but lately it has been falling apart, some of us have been feeling a little guilt if we dont do it even though we know is good for us, I love that in your video it sounds so simple and beautiful that a habit should be something we get to do and not something we have to do (i wrote it down) im going to make dinner and reevaluate my habits and make it what i need now

I also just had the same realization about classpass and am on my last month! Did find several great studios thanks to them. Excited to evaluate my routine further!

My routines have been so wacky with a 10 month old baby! Our first baby and it’s been pretty eye opening how much I’ve lost MY personal routines that properly refuel me and Inspire me. This video was the best prompt to look into the positive changes that are needed! ♥️

This challenge helped me so much!! I had routines just to think I was doing the right thing and it didn’t make me feel good. Thank you so much

I really like this video. It's one of my faves out of this series. I am way out of routine and this has given me some good ideas.
