This song is so awesome, I'm listening to it nonstop. Airiel has always captured what I feel shoegaze should sound like. They're one of the few bands that really make me feel. Their sound is so otherworldly, one of my favourite bands of all time.
@@rarestform Oh yeah definitely, Pinkshinyultrablast are an awesome band. They're another one of my top favourite bands ever as well, cosmic sound for sure.
Songs with mighty basslines just succeed often in my book. Ride's "Drive Blind". "Song 2" by Blur. "Sunshine Smile" by Adorable. They all have that giant thick sound. Definitely something I've kept in mind for my own songwriting. It works well here.
@@lizus4996 Yeah I do. I love songwriting. I am somewhat uncoordinated with instruments though so I need other peoples good technical musicianship to make my ideas sound the way I hear them in my head. Are you a songwriter too?
I can't stop listening to this tune. It's in constant rotation. In my place, my car, everywhere. The rest of the album is fantastic as well. I live in Chi too and will be looking for upcoming shows when those start happening again.
Love your basslines. Reminds me a bit on "kiss me slowly" (my personal favourite Airiel track) - Watched your new video at least 10 times now. Thank you for that. :)
holy FUCK. I've been obsessed with your guys WInks and kisses EP's this entire summer and have just been in love, even though I figured you would never release more music and I just stumbled upon this my heart is racing
A little edgier, but, some of the bass and drum work are a little akin to NAD material from late 80's/ early 90's. Enjoy both bands immensely. This is the only Airiel track I have heard with THIS type of atmosphere. Most tracks are much more reserved. Either way, both sounds are great on them👍
Sonido muy ingles de fines de los 80 y principios de los 90, parece una fusion de varias bandas como the charlatans, inspiral carpets, paris angels y Ride entre otros.
The drum machine opening in this track, and the video shot of the Alesis, was that a plunging stab at electronic? I pray not, I once owned an Alesis SR-16? I still adore electro more than any other type of music. Though, It remains that Airiel is most probably, Thee Best ensemble to wander the Earth, since the Millennium. Dunno, good stuff all-around. I can't get enough, Alesis or not😅. Fare thee well, all
All bands and tracks listed are incredibly good. Slightly different feel and texture to all 3. All 3 are still tremendous at their craft... yep, amazing tunes😊
The bassline is an AVALANCHE, just like in the track "Inside Out" sounds like the band just threw the bassist down a mountain and lived with the sound. It is a great sound, only. 😅

If you aren't familiar with Pinkshinyultrablast, you might like them too. Hard slapping, cosmic guitar leads.

Totally agree!! Amazing band, the real sound inheritors from Ride and Slowdive
Curve & KOD is still the best shoegazer bands
Listen to whirr
Airiel is too cool to be a popular band
AMEN!
I wanna see more about Airiel... Think Thank is so great... I Love that sound...
From Brazil....

Do you write songs by yourself?

@@Polyfusia i dont really have anyone to play instruments with haha but my dream js to be in a band

Dang! Just the fact that you mentioned ADORABLE is pretty heavy. Another AMAZING band that was ALWAYS under the radar. Good call😁

SHOEGAZER Airiel basslines are magical. They are so up lifting that sometimes it feels as though the notes are the path of a graceful swooping bird.
Dude holy shit I just saw this video from the kiss me slowly video and I had no idea these dudes were making new music?????? I'm incredibly stoked
I just discovered this band some weeks ago. Simply AMAZING!!
Can't believe this is 5 years old. Just saw them in Seattle, 2023 and one of the best concerts I've ever been to... Will see them again 100%!
I love Ariel. In Your Room is amazing, as is this song. Reminds me of A Storm In Heaven by Verve, with a touch of Stone Roses.
Finally got to see them. I have been listening to this band since their "Flashlight". Fan from the Philippines.
Wonderful, serene deep, piercing💜

Love you guys! I'm so excited for you & all that is to come.
From Morocco I love Airiel and shoegaze ♥️
Please Airiel come back!

Love this band

Good song!!
this is just awesome.
Proper my kind of noise
Nice new one track and vidéo
Cool, I love the vibes. Awesome band!!
Esta banda es asombrosa, es0 lo maximo...es el shoegaze ideal....
Esta en mi salon de la fama junto a Cure, Smiths, JAMCH, Joy Division, Pixies y MBV
This fire , This love
You should do comeback songs more often, you know :)
everybody should listen to this
Finally got the opportunity to see you guys play live, incredibe! Andrew you're my new hero!
Love it!
They need to be on Colbert and/or SNL!
It's not rap/pop based, so it likely won't happen
Now that is what I call emotion
That was beautiful.
i'm so hyped. welcome back!! so keen for the new record
this is my first time seeing the band, idk what i expected the lead singer to look like = D
It's New Order at the beginning and I love that! Then it goes straight into a speeded up Cure/Slow Dive vibe.
I like how the bulb swings.
Love your music! I hope i get to see you play live someday.
PUURFECT!
Nice work, guys!
I love your music, I hope to hear more of it soon
hermoso
I was high asf when I first listened to this song and it was the best experience ever..love you so much Airiel! 💜

OMFG! this is worth the waiting! beats all Slowdive and Ride together!
Estella Rosa now youre speaking right out of your rear, slowdive's new album is a thing of beauty and sonic bliss
nah
Each band has their own DNA, they are all beautiful in their own original way.
All bands and tracks listed are incredibly good. Slightly different feel and texture to all 3. All 3 are still tremendous at their craft... yep, amazing tunes😊
❤️🔥❤️🔥
والله احبكم
If KOD was still together this is what they would sound like
Wow
KOOL!
airiel is my name
my second name is Ariel... almost ;) jajajaja
I will forever adore that name, even before I knew of this wonderful troupe
I swear to god this song is a bit similar to Angel's Song by Deborah Harry from Rock & Rule and it's really amazing
anyone know why the album isn't on Spotify?

strange to see no bassist in this video
Bass VI is a bass
The bassline is an AVALANCHE, just like in the track "Inside Out" sounds like the band just threw the bassist down a mountain and lived with the sound. It is a great sound, only. 😅
