Thank you Lee gardener! Your videos have helped me so much in growing plants, mostly from seeds without spending much. I currently live in a very different climate (subtropical highland) but a lot of the tips you provide still apply. So thank you! This video and the linked one on the peat-free potting mix were really helpful as I have some fruit trees that slowed down growing and it is most likely due to missing nutrients. I was wondering if one of the weeds you pulled from your pot was wild parsley? I used to find them everywhere when foraging in Northern Europe and really enjoyed them as a (free) parsley substitute. Good luck for this growing season & with all your gardening projects! Take care & stay healthy and safe!

Hi good to see you back. My young fruit trees have tiny green caterpillars on the leaves and they are eating holes in the leaves plus making sticky cocoons for a them selfs I pick them off but there’s always more the next day. Would your veg oil and soup spray get rid of these critters?

Soil disappeared because it got broken down by microbes and by the fact it was so dry since you use peat moss mix... leaving a covering of sorts like mulch or a layer of shallow-rooted plants like normal moss could prevent that to an extent. It makes the whole pot experience much less harmful for the tree.
