    Excellent as usual. I think you could make any harp sound good. Not so much the instrument as it is you. You’re the best.

    Super impressed. I'm looking forward to my Opus12 coming in the mail soon from them, seems like it'll be in the same relative quality as the one you played. Glad to see that this company is making quality affordable instruments.

    Great playing,as always. Wanted to say that when I first played a Suzuki chrome,I thought they were the best until I played an Easttop. Suzuki is a 9.5 and an Easttop is a 10 MHO. Glad to see that you are endorsing these great harmonicas.

      Chris I can only stand behind what I can precisely measure as to what creatures the best compression, the smoothest slide, next to zero leakage with the slide assembly and the highest quality of Phosphorus Bronze reeds which in the machining industry is the highest quality of the " spring steel " but the " spring steel " is just a name there is no carbon steel in the reed material..just sounds good. But it's just copper, tin & Phosphorous and the magic begins.. the right percentage and hardness and you have the highest quality spring back before failure that I have tested over 5 years..ok it's late and goodnight Chris

      Wally P The slide assembly is pretty airtight and very smooth. The low octave plays well. I’m liking the expressive capabilities of the reeds too.

    I'm really loving the sound! I'm guessing Brass Comb? How would you compare it to the suzuki Sirius or Chromatix? From the recording it sounds very loud and precise, more like a horn instrument. I find it interesting that it is cheaper, and yet uses better materials then ABS .

    • @chrisbauermusic
      @chrisbauermusic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've played both the Sirius and the Chromatix. I would say this is a bright version of the Sirius. It has the response of the Chromatix as well. Hope that helps!

    Excellent playing Chris! Is this the Easttop with the brass comb?

    • @chrisbauermusic
      @chrisbauermusic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brian Pite0 Yes it is. It has some "heft" to it, but plays beautifully.

  • @fingerhorn4
    @fingerhorn4 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great playing and nice to hear someone using TASTEFUL vibrato. I have an Easttop 40 and it's excellent except low F and F sharp sound "stuck". I can get them to sound if I really relax completely but only just. How do I adjust the reeds/valves so they blow more freely?

    • @chrisbauermusic
      @chrisbauermusic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! When you say stuck do you mean that if you play the note hard, it chokes? If that's the case, the reed gap needs to a little wider. Do you know how to gap reeds?

    • @fingerhorn4
      @fingerhorn4 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrisbauermusic Yes I meant choking. Unfortunately it's mainly on the draw reed which means opening up the tiny screws to access the inner part of the reed plate. Thanks for your quick response and solution. I have tried widening the gap on a couple of blow reeds and yes it does definitely help. Thanks again.

    • @chrisbauermusic
      @chrisbauermusic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      fingerhorn4 Yeah, pulling all those screws is a chore. If you’re really careful you can do it from the top...but it's not easy.

    Hello and thanks for the review! I have the black 12 hole version and like it a lot (previously owned a Seydel Saxony Chromatic). What is the difference in the sound from the silver one (12 hole again)? Also, is there a difference in playing comfort and passing holes(material of the mouthpiece-silver compared to the gold plated one), between these two? Is there a big difference in the sound with the brass comb? Thanks a lot

    Hello and thank you for the nice review!I orded an Easttop brass 12 hole harmonica and the seller says that this harmonica has been upgraded,
    In order to prevent the brass from being oxidized and the brass Comb is nickel-plated, which can better protect the Comb. Do you know if this is true? Thank you very much

    • @chrisbauermusic
