They like small spaces, getting a huge tank would be dangerous for the octopus because he can propel very fast and hard then bang into the tank and injure himself. In the Wild they find tiny objects (like glass or plastic bottles) to hide in and don’t leave for a while (if only to get food ) the size of the tank is fine you snowflake it’s better in a cozy tank then on a dinner plate. You know that people eat them live right? This is not cruelty the internet will show you REAL animal cruelty. Stop acting like you know everything you are certainly not an octopus expert.
It’s so annoying looking at every fish channel there is always someone complaining about the tank size even if he got a thousand gallon tank you would still be pissing your pants whining. There are bigger problems than fish in tanks (that are completely safe from predators and fishers, and get a warm meal each day) id say the octopus is living a more luxurious life than an actual person. Worry about the homeless not the octopuses you snowflake.
Did you buy that cool tank at the same shop? What is a tank like that called? Is it one of the ones that are called an "all in one"? I think that would be the best sw setup. I am very interested in getting a setup like this. But I am still learning.
Good job bro I was wondering if you thought of buying a peocock mantis shrimp they are incredible animals because I personally have one myself look into it if you will ok.
Easy, you greese the top of the tank. Honestly the best thing..is Bacon greese. I use white petroleum for half of the expose tank that touches the water, and then the top portion I lather with a mixture of white petrol and literally bacon greese. It's a repellent to most aquatic creatures!
So i stopped watching when you said start with the sand. Any one that has spent years building tanks knows to start with the rock. Putting a rock on top of sand can cause the rock to sink or fall into the sand and in some cases crack the tank because of how big and heavy they are. Use aquarium putty on the part of the rock that touches the tank and put it in first then the sand. You guys are knowledgeable but any first timer watches and does sand first could end up upset if a rock cracks their tank.
You seem to know a lot about tanks so if you don't mind could you give me some tips on setting up a tank for an octopus? Like what type of rocks or coral should I put in and what's the difference between live sand and non live sand?
Hey your a rich kid....nice man good for you.....feel free to hit me up if you wanna learn about what your doing! If i could make one suggestion for later videos though....try to not speak. your voice is really hard to listen too. Edit: lol i just realized your name is chad....lol

Where is your lid? Also a tank should be cycled for about 3 months before introducing an octopus 🐙

Good job bro I was wondering if you thought of buying a peocock mantis shrimp they are incredible animals because I personally have one myself look into it if you will ok.

@@ert-wert you should make videos to prove that, would petroleum not contaminate the water?
