Congrats Alex ! You are the most patriotic new SG citizen and happy you got a new hdb home ! 👍👏
A relative of mine migrated to Australia with her two children, a boy and a girl. They became Australians but the boy has to do his NS no matter what or else he cannot step into Singapore and get arrested. She was in a dilemma. We advised to get her son to do NS. No one knows when he needs to come back for whatever reason. Fortunately she took our advice and he has completed his NS during Covid.
The man served NS, which is more than some of our own MPs and PRs.
No sh!t, MPs and PRs (doesn't even matter if they served NS or not) contribute much much more to Singapore than some born and bred locals who are soap-dodging fuqs, good-for-nothings and leeches, contributing absolutely nothing to the nation by being disgruntled (only know how to blame everything else other than himself/ herself for their own current state), entitled and self-important. Are you one of the latter? =PPP
Including those Singaporeans who committed crimes before serving NS. Their enlistments will be thrown out / rejected.
@@Prometheus574 really... Never heard of that
@@ahmadyusoff352444 yes, those who committed crime such as rape, robbery or slashing that involves caning of more than 6 strokes, the CMPB will never call them until the age of 40.
@@ahmadyusoff352444 A friend of mine was involved in gang and loanshark activities before his enlistment letter sent to him. He was changed in court for his offence and sentenced to 3 years, 11 months and 8 strokes of the cane. That time he was 19 years old. Now he is 42. No letters for National Service at all.
Congrats & May God bless u and your family. Thank u for choosing Sg!
Congratulation, welcome bro.Welcome home. Wishing you all the happiness for you and your family
Welcome Home is where your heart is. My late brother once told me to migrate with him to Australia but that never happened and he has migrated to nether world. Do not believe in blueprints but reality that is now.
Welcome brother..welcome home.....
I am very happy for you Alex, welcome home.
You were offered singapore citizenship, it's not that you were denied.
You had your chance and you blew it away.
Can’t blame him too. His immediate family members probably advised him so, perhaps even wanted him along.
Back in those days I think most folks wouldn’t have much of an idea what Stateless would have mattered. As Singapore progressed, more perks were granted to citizens, CPF contributions by employers, numbers of countries waiving Visas approvals from a Singaporean passport increased, and of course getting a house to stay. The difference would have been glaring then and now. It thus makes a lot more sense to get the citizenship sorted out. Can imagine the anguish he has to go through and put up for being different…

In Europe undocumented migrants are given asylum and eventually citizenship within less than 5 yrs.
The system is a loophole for bogus migrants who abuse the hospitality of the host country.
What a joke listening to ur siblings, might as well get the Citizenship handsdown first after NS. Rather wasting time and years planning to migrate.
I met someone in a tour and he was already in his late sixties. All his family members are Singaporeans except him, a PR. He was borne in Indonesia and grew up in Singapore. He was given a chance to become a Singaporean provided he did his NS. Unfortunately in late sixties and seventies and even till mid eighties, becoming a Singaporean was never the first choice. People saw no future in Singapore. So this man no matter how hard he tried, they never gave him even though his children are doctors.
SG is still a good country although we are not happy
Wishing good luck
So he was stateless by choice. He was given citizenship after he had done NS but he rejected on the bad advice of his sister. So he has himself to blame.
Wish you and family all the best, bro!! 🎉❤
Congrats SGT94
A Qigong friend of mine has a brother who went to Australia and didn't come to fulfill his NS. So he can't come to Singapore or face arrest. When his mother was dying and later died, he couldn't come to Singapore to see his mother. So sad.
It is sad but is it fact. NS is good for the nation. If you want to escape like a faggot, then there will be future consequences if you need to face any.Not able to see a dying mother is more trauma than the 2 years NS.
Singapore welcome u..
People are free to come and go as they wish, legally. You made your choice, so welcome to you.
He is a true singaporean
Good luck to you
im PR my dad invest in Singapore , i served National Service and even go for reservist when im already working in Jakarta, but i have to eventually go back to Indonesia and work there, then my PR got taken away … so sad hiks… then have to appeal back for my PR, many foreign will want to be a PR and Citizen of Singapore , if ure rich but not as rich as the new comer u can kiss your PR good bye haha despite your pass contribution to Singapore.
If I’m not wrong to qualify for PR one has to be residing in Singapore for at least 180 days per year. Not complying with that, the authorities will deem the person not needing his PR status.
Have they inform you of anything before revoking the status?
@@vennsim71 nope but instead, what they told me last time bcus of investment and serving the NS this type of PR will be forever. Its alright if you dont stay 180 days in a year but need to top up the investment or open more office and employ more Singaporean in Singapore office.
Nice. But filmatographer must make him wear different shirts to make more natural. And Singaporeans dont wear socks at home all the time.
Hmmm I tot his first choice was Australia 🤷♀️
Congrats 🎊 👏🏻❤️
Hii first to view and first to comment❤ and first to like 😊
Are you looking for a
Gold medal?
Have never understood the policies concerning citizenship set by our esteemed scholar generals. Many people like him and around us who have grown up with us and is definitely 100% Singaporeans are given a hard time and exhausting wait while foreigners with dubious backgrounds get their PRs and citizenships in a jiffy.
Firstly our scholar
generals politicians are important. You never know the importance until there's war. Remember that our neighbors are very jealous because of our wealth. So please don't run down the generals. They can atbthe very least give us a fighting chance to survive in event of wars. If there are more Mahathirs around, you will understand why.
@@38284LHKthey will be the first to run . Just look at how Desmond Kwek performed so badly.
I think he took ages to get his citizenship because the refused to accept that before.
Bro u deserve our respect but the singaporean government doesnt deserve ur loyalty man! Goodness me u serve NS and still a stateless joker. U r a million times more worthy than those Ah tiong who open up all those Ma la stall aggressively who somehow got citizenship easily. Tired of all these nonsense govt propoganda of drumming up national pride.
I think you missed the bit where he said he was offered SG citizenship after doing NS, but he turned it down because his older brother and sister in law advised him not to as they were planning to migrate to Australia.
@@anchored555 ya, Australia was his first choice.
Not only Mala, economic rice and even Kueh kueh but they have aggressively bought over entire coffeeshops and replaced all our local hawkers with their fellow Tiongs and selling the same foodstuff at jacked up prices. While appearing to be separate stalls, they are actually owned by the same PRC boss. Refused absolutely to patronise them because of their poor hygiene and doubtful possibly fake food ingredients
