Thank you so much for uploading these episodes. I’ve periodically asked the other TH-camrs who have uploaded the few other episodes that have been available up until now. This means so much to me as it takes me back to such a happy period of my life, seriously thank you.
Welcome to the channel. I hope to be uploading all the episodes. At the moment some have gone missing so we hope that we can find the other tapes and upload the complete series. Uploads may be a bit sporadic because I am fitting it in between other work that I have.
Keep up the great work your time and effort is really appreciated by me as I’m sure many others would love to see many more episodes and the second series it’s a wonderful trip down memory lane @@NightShift101
Omg I started watching these episodes a few months ago after finding this channel, Ive only just found out from the comments that Colin has passed, such a nice chap, RIP
So glad you got an interview with Colin before his sad passing. I was another teenager who discovered Night Shift in the small hours and I loved its hazy late night vibe and the easy, relaxed presentation style of Colin. Amazing to see these again.
This is fantastic! I was born 1982 so I was a teenager when Night Shift was on and this is a great capture of a great decade. I remember this on TV in the same era as The James Whale Show and the like. There was so much atmosphere then and I’m so glad you’ve set up the channel. It’s also great to see Colin Bennett and how he’s doing these days - I wonder if he still has the Edmonton Oilers jacket?!!! Thanks for posting and looking forward to exploring the channel : )
@@NightShift101 Thanks for the reply and Colin and Graham are bang on the money with their descriptions of how things were in the 1990s and how things haven’t necessarily changed for the better (I agree with CB - a lot of stuff today is nonsense). Funnily enough I had found the channel this morning after completing night shifts of all things! Thanks for the channel and the uploads, great stuff!
Just found this and night shift is great!! Would love to see a night shift today. Perhaps pop back to places visited back in the 90s and see how they have changed. There would be new night industries too. Imagine visiting an internet server farm or something like that!
I used to love the late night TV back in the day. There was another one on in the early hours, another shortie, it was a cookery programme called Get Stuffed. I'm trying to find some excerpts of it.
Your wish is my command. Thanks to these uploads more camerawork has come in so been too busy. Next week I will start uploading most days. Glad that you like them.
Model maker Peter Poole did a great job on the monopoly -style map in the opening titles just found out it was filmed in a a Brighton garage and using a smoke machine very impressive most people including myself would think it was filmed in a studio filmed by your good self Dave I believe
RIP Colin Bennett.
Just learned of his passing. Loved this series
Great to see Colin looking so well after all these years
Glad you liked them. Will be uploading as many as I can.
Lovely idea to resurrect this valuable archive. Captures a period of time with universal stories.
Thanks Kev. Well done for all your work on Archiving the life and Times of Douglas Adams in your Fab Book 42.
Fantastic can’t believe this is here! Remember staying up late with night shift when I was in secondary school, watching night time on ITV! Thank you!
That's awesome!
@davidprofitt497 i remember the night shift titles. When i couldn't sleep
Thanks for this channel are you going to add the classic early episode ?
