They're back to making Brooke look old again -- she looks like Eric's age here. But maybe it's intentional this time because they're both supposed to be the parents of Bridget in this story.
Of course, Brooke has to lash out at Amber again, like it's her fault that Bridget is now married. What does she actually expect from her? That she is leaving the husband she just married again and for Bridget's well-being runs to Deacon?

It's Rick's fault for bringing Deacon into their lives, and Brooke's fault for scheming to break Rick and Amber up (so that Deacon got this false hope that was then taken away from him, causing him to want to get back at the Forresters). And of course it's Deacon's fauIt too because he's the one who is using Bridget.

Had Rick not started the snowball rolling down the hill, the avalanche happening now wouldn't be. Now, if Deacon had sauntered into town and stumbled upon Amber and his son on his own and started trouble by going to Rick and asking for money, that would have been another story.

I'm just feeling there's also karma in there for Brooke too, because of her scheme. If she hadn't done that, Amber would have stayed with Deacon another month and then she would have had the baby, he would have had the money, and although he might not have been happy with losing his son and Amber he would have had no reason to be angry with the Forresters, so he wouldn't have used Bridget to get back at them. (It's just that it makes more sense to me for Bridget's downfall to be connected to Brooke's actions because it makes for a better symmetry in connection with the Venice storyline.)
@@annieo6527 I honestly find Rick didn't even need Deacon to break up CJ and Amber's wedding. Amber had feelings for Rick anyway.. All he had to do was show up and claim his love and she'd have stopped the wedding herself, while she "sorted out" her feelings. Amber had one foot out the door with CJ anyway. So Rick most likely would have ended up with Amber and baby anyhow, sans Deacon, with CJ now becoming his enemy. I def see your point about Brooke tho. Even without Rick bringing in Deacon as a factor, Brooke would have been against Amber marrying her son, and would have done the "Venice" on them anyway to break them up. And then Amber would run back with the baby to CJ for comfort, and Brooke screeching.. "See!? She never loved you!" This really is why I think Deacon being here now to run circles around the Forresters is all Rick's fault. He actually didn't *need* Deacon, and the storyline could have gone just as well without him, with prob the exception of this part with Deacon now trying to trade Bridgit for Amber. I dont see CJ being that devious.
Sorry not convinced that all this chaos is happening because of Amber. Its incredibly annoying when the writers try and convince us that a character is much more desirable than they really are.

I think Sally didn't actually _have_ to close down the company. She just felt like there was no fun in it anymore because of Macy's death, and then she saw this handsome young designer and got inspired.
It was terrible how they killed off Macy. Too bad they didn't put Amber/Deacon together, instead they put Deacon/Brooke together, which they had no chemistry
