Dude that is sick!!! Do you have a build list of the parts used. Lol i dont mean the aluminum staight stock but the fenders, hood, bumper parts and headlight brackets
Try out the 99-02 hd front end swap they look badass and you dont see them everywhere like the cateyes probably cus its a little more work the bumper supports have to be cut from the frame and lowered like an inch and a half or something.
Hey man i got a question im about to do a cateye swap , but can i just put the SS bumper on the bubble eye bumper? theres no need for a 03-06 bumper for the ss bumper to fit ?
How did you get get to the middle of the fuse box I tried to get the screw off but there is a hard part that I can’t get past to unscrew it what do I do ?
Nice cuz I Wana do this but I seen a lot of people cut the brackets from the bumper then weld it back to lower it a bit to make the hd grill fit so I was surprised that you didn't do that and it looks good
Boost!!! Lol it’s actually getting popular to boost the v6 engine and they sound pretty mean. And quite surprisingly they’re a lot of support for the engines with mods and other stuff. But if you’re not trying to getting that far into it maybe like a cam or headers but there’s not much gains with simple bolt on like forced induction.
@@ErikRose_currently doing the swap, just having an extremely hard time with passenger fender because that’s where I wanted to start, it won’t bolt right up, and I’ve tried everything, any ideas bro?
@@ayelerm3484 is your bumper painted? Mine was awkward too without paint but once i painted it, it made the bumper stiff and stay in the intended shape which also made it fit much better after!
Thanks bro, got them from carparts.com but they came a little banged up from shipping so if you decide to get them. But got a discount for the damage and a little body work they were like new haha.
Carparts.com but they came a little banged up from shipping so if you don’t mind a little body work it wasn’t to bad. But I recommend getting some from a junk yard or somewhere you can pick up locally.
I bought everything brand new from carparts.com and classicindustries.com Cateye fender - $200 (discounted price because they arrived with small dings) HD Hood- $140 SS bumper- $120 HD Grill - $130
if you do it with a flex sensor roughly about - $240 without sensor - $200 not worth it tho unless you plan on boosting otherwise gains are only about 5-10hp for NA
Gopd to know. I was also thinking on preparing a 408 for some boost or a nitrous build. I haven't ever done an e85 setup, but a boosted setup like that interested me. Can you switch between e85 and regular fuel?
Technically you do for a good fit and requires cutting and welding. With the bubble eye bumper you need to make brackets and supports to make it fit like we did but it works. So either one requires a bit of fabrication.
Carparts.com and classic industries but the fenders came a little banged up from carparts better if you can pick some up in person or if you don’t mind a little body work they’re fine.
When you the do the headlights seal them with sealant because water and condensation will get in it make the headlights nasty
yessir! I had planned on doing this i’ve heard these aftermarket headlights dont do good in water lol
Thanks for all the ideas I have a 2005 👍

@ErikRose How much did all of this cost, and or how much would it cost just for the parts?
For the full conversion it was around $700
Hey man i got a question im about to do a cateye swap , but can i just put the SS bumper on the bubble eye bumper? theres no need for a 03-06 bumper for the ss bumper to fit ?
I actually just left the bubble eye bumper on mine, just have to make custom brackets and fit it well but yeah it’s possible to make it work!
Info on those front wheels?
old video ik but where did you get this front bumper i need to upgrade mine!!
I think it was eBay bro just a cheap replacement, but it’s actually pretty decent.
Anything I can do to my 07 Chevy 4.3v6 everything is original what should I start with can I do engine mods or not worth it
Really not much gains with doing bolt on stuff on that engine. But some people are boosting them and getting some good results.
How did you get get to the middle of the fuse box I tried to get the screw off but there is a hard part that I can’t get past to unscrew it what do I do ?
I wasn’t that hard, did you separate the fuse box? There are some tabs that let you remove it to get to the bottom bolts.
Where did you find the hood and grille, I'm looking to buy those as well.
I got both from classicindustries.com if you live in the socal area its pretty cheap to just pick up otherwise I know their shipping can be pricey!
Thank you!
Me and my boy planning on swapping his sierra bubble eye to a cateye. You got the links for the fenders?

@@JoelContreras-jr7sfany update on it fitting the tahoe? lmk
So you didn't have to cut the brackets from the bumper to lower it a bit to fit the grill and all that
I didn’t make any cuts or modifications other than for the SS bumper bro everything else was pretty much plug and play !
Nice cuz I Wana do this but I seen a lot of people cut the brackets from the bumper then weld it back to lower it a bit to make the hd grill fit so I was surprised that you didn't do that and it looks good
Perrona , Going to do this on my v6 , no quema la Mia cuh
que le hace cuh 🤣
I just got a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 50,000 miles
I know it’s a v6 but what can I do to make it faster and soud mean
What size rim and tire do you have in the front
they’re procomp rims 17x9 on a 245/65/17 tire bro
Hey man what the size of the tires and wheels at front?
they are 17x10 and on 245/65/17 tire 👌
