From around 1900 the house was lived in by four friends affectionately known as The Quartet... The house was a safe haven for Catholic Priests during the reformation with a Priest hole where they would have hidden... Join us and enjoy our unique content...

Hi Neil and Ant we love Baddesley Clinton so much both inside and out. It's such an atmospheric property with some fascinating stories to tell. The priest hole and the ghosts make for a fascinating visit. We love that fireplace so cosy. The wall panels are beautiful especially in the chapel. We totally agree with you... you can feel the history in the walls as you wander around this house... it feels as though the owners have stepped outside and will be back at any moment! The Manor House has been perfectly preserved and you really do get a feel for how it would be to live here... We were so lucky to visit on such a bright day [with virtually no one else in there ] the light was perfect for capturing some of the rooms and their contents... We are so pleased that you enjoyed the video [it was your Christmas video from here that inspired us to go] We hope your week is going well... very best wishes Neil and Ant 😊
