Very good update Sir, your car is wearing very well, and looks very smart, and an Alpaca fits in the glove compartment. I have noticed quite afew Tivoli’s since seeing yours. Very sensible on the servicing, saving time & £’s
Roger the Alpaca very much enjoyed being released from his imprisonment, although it was only temporary. I let him out again when I got home. They are not common cars, but they are around if you look for them. Mr Coleman's uncle will be looking after me again, I think.
Very helpful owners review, it's a pretty little car and well equipped, the seven year warranty appeals even if the car was three years old, there is a piece of mind in case anything goes wrong.
I really do love the looks of the Tivoli, right from the first time I saw one. The roofline, windscreen and A pillars are very MINI like and the interior is especially plush. The feather in the Tivoli cap is the rear head and leg room. So many manufacturers forget that adults do travel in the back, whether to work, to Church, on holiday or simply out for an afternoon. A modern car should not touch your head. As for your Warranty Claim, I should point out that my Daughter's Fiat 500S had the same problem as yourself, just 6 weeks outside the 3 year Warranty, So recovery, geniune parts, Labour and VAT come to £880. Therefore, I would recommend the Ssangyong Warranty as great piece of mind as any vehicle is capable of failure, Good Sir. Incidentally, the Genuine Fiat repair is guaranteed for 2 years.
We do like the Tivoli, sir! I think modern SsangYongs are far better in terms of their design than older ones. They are indeed very spacious for a car of their footprint, and the headroom is particularly impressive. The clutch slave cylinder is a common problem on many cars, it would seem. The car was sorted completely free of charge, although the logistics did turn out to be quite a hassle.
I still love the styling of these . It's always nice when a manufacturer does something a bit different looking. Nice to see the Lloyd Tivoli again. We see you out and about mainly in the Merc and Rover these days. That suggests that the Tivoli continues to go about its business with minimal fuss which is a great endorsement in itself. Hmm what extra car may join the fleet? I have a potential thought :)
You are very welcome to have a potential thought, sir, but in reality it may be a number of months before we purchase an additional car, I am afraid! The Tivoli is mainly driven by my lady wife, who successfully completed a 500 mile round trip to Cheshire in it over the weekend without incident. The summary you have come up with about why it does not feature much on the channel is completely accurate, it just gets on with the job day after day.
That's interesting, sir! I had to take my mother to the doctor's surgery the other day at short notice, and happened to be in the SsangYong. I thought she would have difficulty with it, but she was all right this time for some reason!

Thank you, Mr Watters! More SsangYong content coming up soon. The seven year warranty is very appealing indeed, and I do like the design.

Nice update Mr Lloyd, my mother can get in and out of my relatively low car with comparative ease, taller cars she just can’t get in !
