Nice! -- QUESTION -- One thing I never understand is this: why do these electrical systems now have so many components ie all that Victon mppt and quatro etc Lots and lots of those blue boxes BUT my house runs all the AC systems, mini splits, TV, Kitchen without any of this stuff and it never fails. It simply has a fuse box/breaker and that is it. Why is there not one simple Victorn blue box and nothing else?
Your house is a stationary.. hardwired to a meter and the meter never stops and you get a bill every month.. when the electric company has an issue you loose power.. and deal with it.. A coach and or Rv is mobile.. but some Rv‘eta do choose to pedestal camp.. paying for the campsite.. daily and or seasonal.. that often is thousands a night and you need to be organized.. finding availability and paying the piper. While moving and if you need comfort.. the generator is powered on and you get to hear the noise.. put fuel in the tank and burn an average of 1/2 gal an hr.. you have maintenance on the generator etc. Being self sustainable is a lifestyle change.. that provides the independence of camping remotely.. such as remote parks to harvest hosts.. to rally’s that often charge 100 a night for just the plug.. also the convenience of traveling in comfort with no generator usage. I reference to all in one units.. the smart people have designed and built such systems.. but when their is an issue you are often totally down and often seeking discontinued parts. Their has
@@MasterTechRVServicesElkhart ..make no mistake, I am with you on having solar and free electriicity without pluging in. No question. But many devices I own have batteries without all those endless blue Victron boxes. Laptops, cell phones etc all convert DC to power devices. In fact, I have a solar calculator from the 1980s that takes solar and turns it into the electricity needed to properly run a calculator - no extra devices needed. Why can't an RV not have some simply device that takes DC power and outputs the electricity we need just like everything else on earth. Seems like all of a sudden it gets super complicated with tens of thousands of dollars of blue boxes that connect to other blue boxes and then onto some other blue box. What gives? What am I missing?
You can get a tingle if you don't know what you are doing as an additional precaution. The 48v lithium packs are a completely cased up to 315 lb modules have a high amp connector with a sealed plug for a single point connection to bms. All wiring from 12v to 48v are color coded with identifications and connections are covered to avoid any potential contact. Everything is Multiple UL approved, safe and insured. By the way an electric automobile can be as high as 400v DC and they are running thru water.
Even 120v to 240v ac can be fatal a alternator on a vehicle as well.. that is why everything is labeled.. and if you do not understand.. no touching! The highbred vehicles have a 48v battery.. and most electric vehicles are built on a 400v Dc platform.

Is it true that anything over 30 volts DC can be fatal if you come into physical contact with it?

Cost of this system? Guessing $50,000 or more?
This is a $100K + system!
Yes.. We have exceeded that as well depending on options.. Many of our customers have also taken advantage of a 30% second home tax credit.
