Phil Donahue was a hero. I watched a lot of his shows and interviews. He had a unique approach of playing the antagonist, to where it gets people talking rather than the societal expectations of holding back. Overall, Phil was a good man and principled. I wish his family well. May he rest in peace.

Donahue was mostly before my time but I watch clips on TH-cam. He seemed fair and balanced on his show, I hope he really was. RIP Mr. Donahue.
