    This is SOOOO helpful!!!! I bought this keyboard a while back and am still learning how to use all the functions properly. What makes it annoying is that the manual that comes with the keyboard gives nearly no info or step by step information for doing things like this, so me with nearly no experience in this genre of music and trying to learn it am finding that good TH-cam tutorials like this are a billion times more helpful than the manual.

    Actually I am an Indian, so I tried Hindi video first. But nothing is explained properly. Then I found you. Hats off to your efforts. I am just buying to go this keyboard which is sold as Roland XPS 30 in India.

    Thank you, very well done, I learned a lot, it's especially nice to find information on use in a live setting! I just got my 61 yesterday.

      Six months later and I'm back. Getting this thing sorted out, going live with it Wednesday at rehearsal for a gig Saturday night. Finally. Life happens. Not to mention that it's been very difficult finally getting to this point. But I'm back here as a last - step sanity check to make sure I'm on the right path, seemed like the best resource I've found. Thank you very much!

    Question...does the basic tone editing capabilities have graphics types or just numbers ? exemple ...like the old juno g, you would have tone structure choices or filter cutoff in either a graphic style or just in some numerical values etc...I'm just curious I wasnt able to see any videos exploring the basic tone or patch editing capabilities on the DS! the only thing I suspected is that it seems to bear alot of similarities to the old JunoG!

    good Demo mate. Is it possible to associate a Drum track in one of the part? So as Drum starts along with the other parts?

    What if I dont turn the keyboard switch ON on the keyboard column and instead set all the part's ch to ch 1 and the performance mode tx/rx ch to ch 1 will it still make and play the sounds? I'm a bit confused of that keyboard switch coz on earlier synths layering is done by setting the all the parts ch you want to layer on the same ch no keyboard switch needed

    Hi Matt, your video is beautiful, well done!! I would like to know if the patterns | can be saved on the juno ds sequencer on memory or pendrive? Can I load patterns saved with songs without problems or having to turn off the keyboard? Thank you

    Have you done any videos on manipulating/adding effects to a particular patch? I know it has potential, but I haven't quite cracked it

  • @fireblazer6661

    Stupid question. When naming the performance... how can I delete the already existing name? Anyone know? There seems to be no "delete" button to delete a letter, so I'm not sure how to rename things efficiently as opposed to spinning the wheel for each already existing letter... I'd like to just wipe the whole name, and start from scratch with some short basic naming schemes. Just got the board the other day for 500 CAD (only been played maybe 40 times). Steal of a deal. Just trying to figure out some basics while I wait for my friend to send me the manual in the mail (he forgot to bring it with him).

    Hi and thanks for a very clear video. Did you put the key in the title of the song just so you would remember what key you play it in? I guess what I am asking is that there was nothing in the patch that you created and saved that made it just for the key of Eb was there?

    • @mattferree
      @mattferree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The key of the song matters because the split points will change for different keys. I made it so that the riffs fit perfectly on the sections of the keyboard

      @@mattferree Do more reviews. It attracts viewers. Me particularly have tried several told to be superior stage keyboards, but I prefer my 🟥🟦 Juno DS. It's internal amplifier and Eq capabilities are awesome with rich mids and adjustments. But has to be played in stereo. I use Yamaha's HS 8.
