This has soooo much nordic folk music vibes. Loved it with the early In Flames.
These were the awesome times when it comes to melodic deathmetal. I still love those songs SOOOOO much after all this time! :)
First years of In Flames are another dimension, it is definitely melodic death metal masterpieces
I love this song, one of my favourites
Fuck they was good back then 👊🏼🤘
December flower my favourite
A song that made me start listening to melodic death metal back in 1995. They were sooo amazing back then. Still not bad but those early records are just great.
Love the power metal vibe on guitars. Wish they still do songs like this, which is one of my favorites.
loved them back then, completely lost interest after their Clayman album, but still always listen to their old stuff.
Dunno, some of these old songs were kinda boring. Clayman was great, but some of the newer stuff even are better than for example this song.
Couldn't agree more. Their 3 first albums in particular are amazing. Not heard their newer stuff.
if iron maiden guitar passage was born in Gottenburg: IN FLAAAAAAAMESS!
ah my first album from In Flames back in 96, still listen to it, like it more than the new stuff
Their logo changed (and the band too, all the member changed), i think you reviewed the band before, the song Where the Dead Ships Dwell if im not mistaking
Edit: was When The World Explodes, anyway, another band/style, i enjoy more the In Flames between 1999-2008
Always prefer In Flames after 2000's. Yeah it's me and fans of their old stuff you can click dislikes... I'm here for this😏
Next song Cloud Connected please))
I always thought soundtrack to your escape was their last decent album. Come clarity has as much cringy songs as good songs on it. It was downward after that. I'm not a complete purist, it's just that everything they do nowadays boils down to some corny sing-along music. Always the same formula, it's just become terrible. But hey here's your old fan comment :-D Not a downvote at least.
I'm the weirdo that likes the middle of their catalogue. I like Colony through Reroute to Remain. The early albums were a bit to harsh vocally(for me personally)but musically they are masterpieces. The last four after reroute have been hit or miss.
If only they were in their prime after 2000, lol.
