This makes me so mad. Had a wraith game on midwich recently where a Dwight was tunneled out, and with 2 gens left, the Meg and sable decided the game was over and were both stealthing. I was going for decent chases but neither of them did a damn thing for the rest of the match besides maybe finger some bones.
I kinda think this perk works great with deja vu or the still sight perk. When a killer hooks someone hid behind the gen you are working on. Wile sitting still still sight activates. If you see the killer heading towards your gen then toss the pebble away from it and hope you have enough time to finish it or to hide! Could even toss in perks like kindred or better together to find out if your team is going for the safe. Or toss in repressed alliance if you wanna keep you gen progress
@@07kilswitch This would be pretty cool. The only problem is whether the killer has gen specific perks which could detect you and possibly ruin the plan, but I think even then, it could still be pretty effective.
Considering that the pebble magically appears in your pocket after being in close proximity to the Killer as an Entity-given reward, one would assume that this pebble is not a normal pebble. My hypothesis is the pebble disintegrates with the notification it produces and does not actually land anywhere.
Pebble tech is also great when they hold it until the end. When I've played killer, I've had people spam it pretty often so you know to ignore it. But some people only use it when trying to get the exit gate and have managed to trick me.
"No the crows!" I got a headache laughing so hard from that. And then he just walks up to the hiding Adam and stares at him, and Adam tries to nonchalantly walk away.

didn't see any comments about the graphics of the Cheryl so I wanted to take a guess and say that it had something to do with how textures change to look better when you are closer. hers just forgot to change
No, it's something called LOD. Level of Detail. It's basically a way to save performance, making characters low poly further away, as there would be no need to render a far away character at max Level of Detail. The bug probably makes it so that the LOD does not change properly even when a character gets close.
@@ethangonzalez9265 Well, partially anyways. Textures and polys/vertices are very different, like the paint of a house vs the bricks that form it. Usually LOD generation in UE is automatic if set up correctly so I wonder what went wrong here. 🤔
Just to clarify something, 1% usage is the median pick rate, so Diversion is right about in the middle of the pack. (It’s currently #82 out of 149 on Nightlight. The median is 74.5 so it’s right in the middle give or take.) So there are definitely a lot of perks that are used less than Diversion.
When I use this perk I usually throw it on generator or a window so I may guaranteed that they took the bed, but sadly I don’t use them on lockers because it looks obvious if they were close.
Lmao that's what I'm saying! I just started playing about a week ago, and I have climbed through many an exit gate unscathed because of this perk, despite the fact my pathing and looping is still pretty bad considering I just don't have the map knowledge yet.
I've recently been playing a really dumb/fun build with lich using Franklin's Demise, Weave Attunement, Hoarder, and Human Greed. it probably won't be as good when Bone Chill isn't crowding the map with extra chests hut right now it's fun
Man that opening saying how many survs n perks there are made me glad that ive been around for a good bit that im caught up. Like thats so much to grind out free to play
Want some underrated survivor perks? How about Repressed Alliance, built-in counter to Ruin that may protect gens for a shorter time than Blast Mine, but protects them completely and utterly during its effect. How about Hyperfocus, which most survivors avoid because of the increased pressure on skill checks, but- when you're undisturbed on a gen- can literally half the time you spend working on it by skill alone. How about Lucky Star, which synergizes amazingly with any perks that involve you going into lockers, and gives you a staggering amount of information AND stealth for an entire 30 seconds- you see the closest gen, so you can start repairs, and you also see EVERY SURVIVOR. How about Clean Break, which effectively works as a slow built-in styptic as long as you can safely assume that the killer's not coming back and/or you can run them around for its duration if they do. How about Dead Hard, which got gutted into being actually balanced and thus is picked way less nowadays, but now works as an amazing back-up plan, both if you're being tunneled or if you just wanna live for a bit longer. How about Chemical Trap, which turns any relatively safe pallet into a god pallet and inflicts such fear on killers that they'll usually continue a bad loop for MINUTES just to avoid activating the trap. All this fun shit you COULD be using effectively, and everyone just runs Windows, Resilience, Strength in Shadows, Finesse, Lithe, Hope, Champion of Light, Residual Manifest, etc
Some of those perks had their moments. Repressed alliance+wiretap+blast mine is still fun and repressed alliance actually counters pain resonance as well which most killers seem to be using. Hyper focus was insane when it came out and ppl were using it with stakeout(still really good for gen rushing lol). Lucky star can be paired with overcome+lucky break+inner healing if u wanna try to disappear after getting hit then be full health in 8 sec. Dead hard is dead to me lol, very easy to counter and rarely works for me(my killers aren't bots). Chemical trap is cool but any killer with half a brain knows to break it instantly on a safe pallet and just take the hinder, only a 1 time use per chase anyways at most. The "meta" perks u despise every1 using is more for survivability, with the way most killers are playing(my experience), they will slug, tunnel, bleed you out even w/o u t-bagging them lol. I can't mess around with "fun" perks when they do that and maybe from their experience, they're getting gen rushed so they have to sweat a bit bc ideally survivors should be doing gens if they aren't getting chased or unhooking. There's no winning this argument. It's do gens or be killed, kill or gens pop. So just play however you want🫡
Alright you got my spooky. This is by far my favorite perk regardless of how meta it might be. It's just fun. One of my favorites is seeing the killer realize you have the perk. One thing that should be noted is that it does not have a range so the killer will (almost) always be given the loud noise notification. The almost is because if the killer is close to the spot, the scratch marks will appear and there will be a sound, but there won't be a notification bubble highlighting it's location
The problem with pebble in soloq is, you’re going to end up throwing it at an unsuspecting teammate and get them caught. Like in that first match, you wanna get that gen in the center that you kept throwing a pebble at done early
