This is great. I especially like that you talk about the benefits/drawbacks of the different approaches. For me personally, I find creating layouts with core blocks (such as with the InnerBlocks example) or patterns a little stressful because I always worry that things could change that could break my block. That said, I use InnerBlocks all the time and think it's great for setting up templates.
Hey guys loved this video, wanted to ask you a question. I really like the native static blocks the seem to offer best UX, but is there a way to prevent Attempt Block Recovery? In Pinegrow they manage to overcome this by using React on the Backend and PHP on the front end.
And, of course, given that this is a discussion about blocks, I had to put together a video on how these methods can be used in Wicked Block Builder too. th-cam.com/video/9dj2FBZ0VUc/w-d-xo.html

I do feel like things are stabilizing a bit and that we don't have to worry AS much about things changing, but I totally hear you! - Aurooba
Brian asks good questions.
How to handle meta data via sidebarPlugin or a block in the editor?
I just saw a great tutorial published about this: developer.wordpress.org/news/2023/03/creating-a-custom-block-that-stores-post-meta/ -Brian
