This mix is better than the actual movie, well done! I enjoyed the music and the first 2 hours immensely, but after that it fell flat and focused on the wrong things.. shame because up to that point it was sitting on a 9/10 for me, but the last hour was a 3 at best...
I personally like the last hour. I liked seeing how much Oppenheimer was affected by what he created and the repercussions of his past actions. I think if it wasn't there, it would have glorified Oppenheimers actions too much, not showing the consequences.
If you think that then I'm sorry but you must not have been paying attention. Too bad. Third act was perfectly focused on the psychological toll and also the political aftermath of such a world changing invention and its actual use in war. And the final scene and terrifying last quote easily made the movie a 10.

@@sanjidandelion It did nothing of the sort unfortunately.. the third act was all about glorifying the man as some kind of infallible war hero who was wrongly accused by his government. They touched on the psychological weight of the bombings for about 4 minutes via one scene and that was that, everyone moved on and the focus shifted to his security clearance and the preservation of his public reputation. Sometimes I wonder if we all watched the same movie lol
We all found ourselves in a situation that is the mind opener to cherish upon instead of witnessing the dismantling process of our own ability because those four people who set up the foundation of a society they hardly ever internalize what our existence is and we follow slogans or we turned as the temporary slave of a so-called powerful man who only have taken advantage of some common man, because common man are so poor today from the mental aspect.

This mix is better than the actual movie, well done! I enjoyed the music and the first 2 hours immensely, but after that it fell flat and focused on the wrong things.. shame because up to that point it was sitting on a 9/10 for me, but the last hour was a 3 at best...
I personally like the last hour. I liked seeing how much Oppenheimer was affected by what he created and the repercussions of his past actions. I think if it wasn't there, it would have glorified Oppenheimers actions too much, not showing the consequences.
If you think that then I'm sorry but you must not have been paying attention. Too bad.
Third act was perfectly focused on the psychological toll and also the political aftermath of such a world changing invention and its actual use in war. And the final scene and terrifying last quote easily made the movie a 10.

@@sanjidandelion exactly. I think the third act made a perfect conclusion to the film, that there would be repercussions of such an invention and it showed the inner struggles of Oppenheimer. The feelings and sympathy you feel for Oppenheimer really stem from this act.
@@sanjidandelion It did nothing of the sort unfortunately.. the third act was all about glorifying the man as some kind of infallible war hero who was wrongly accused by his government. They touched on the psychological weight of the bombings for about 4 minutes via one scene and that was that, everyone moved on and the focus shifted to his security clearance and the preservation of his public reputation. Sometimes I wonder if we all watched the same movie lol
