Just when you think you have a plan, mother nature says hold my beer. Let me show you what I can do.😮
Tropicana stadium owners and the Florida Governor was sold a “Pig in a Poke” when the roof salesman said the fiberglass roof could withstand a hurricane force wind.
it's just a TARP people, what did you expect? RELAX!
Whose dumb idea was to build a roof of pool plastic and use it as a shelter in hurricane weather?? 🤦🏻♀️
FLORIDA!
At least it will be cheap to replace! Relatively cheap, that is! LOL
The roof designers probably cut some corners if it was rated for higher wind speeds than what it actually was able to handle.
You're right; I don't see any corners on that roof at all. 🤔🤔🤔
Plot twist it's made of paper
Looks just like the Louisiana Superdome after Katrina. You'd think we’d learn to not use this type of building for anything during a hurricane.
What did you expect them to hear when the sails ripped? Heavenly harps?
They wanted to tear it down anyway I think
According to who?
@@SamWilkinsonnWatch the video.
@@patrickwong4824 fair. Not til 2028 though, might not have the funding atm, and I’m guessing finding enough contractors when everywhere else is getting repaired will be an issue. So I feel their original comment is downplaying something that will cause the team a massive headache.
Edit: and I did watch the whole video before my initial question. It was a perfectly valid question. I didn’t remember every word said funnily enough.
Lol who puts first responders under a paper wrapped ceiling in a cat 3? (I know it’s not paper) They have halls all the way around and under the ring structure of the stadium and they put the cots in the middle of the field. 🤯
It’s like putting folks in the middle of steel racks that reach the ceiling in a warehouse during a tornado. Common sense isn’t so…lol
There have never been 25 thousand people in that place at one time since it was built!
For the Tampa Bay Rays relocate for a year come to Miami play with the Marlins generate Revenue. Open the new stadium in 2026 That was supposed to open the 2028
Well, the Rays lineup certainly couldn't take the roof off the place.
Everybody evacuated. What, guy, are you doing here still?!!!
Sorry who would put up a roof like that 😮😮😮😮
Well there’s a chance to put a proper roof on the Trop
KAMALA did it !! 😅
We would have more than enough to rebuild this beautiful nation if we didn't give all that money to Isreal and Ukraine. Who does our government work for?
Good. Upgrade the roof and grow natural Grass. Play Baseball under the Sun like it's meant to be. Go green.
In the summer in FL?
Right?! Triple digit weather in the FL hot sun and thunderstorms almost every afternoon...yeah ok😅 @@kevinerosa
Time to move the Rays to Montreal,
