Keep to a schedule with this one man, one a week, one a fortnight, but keep to a schedule. Also I would do Anesthetize by itself, and the remaining three songs in a single reaction, before you move onto the companion album 'Nil Recurring'.
Gavin Harrison also drums in Pineapple Tree. Great band. I think you will like Ayreon too. Start with The day that the world brakes down. Then look at both live concerts: Ayreon Universe live The electric castle live and other tales. Then the albums. You will hear a lot of well know rock and metal musicians.
This is a brilliant PT album but then most of them are. Looking forward to seeing you check out the rest of it. After that can I suggest that you wind back to the Album ‘Lightbulb Sun’ or as someone else suggested check out the latest album ‘Closure/continuation’ which confirms that they still have the magic. Also you really should treat yourself to some Steven Wilson solo work. The album ‘Hand cannot erase’ might just be the best thing that he has ever produced and would be in my top 5 albums of all time by anyone.
Richard's keyboards are so hauntingly amazing on this record, they add so much to the songs. My Ashes is a fantastic example of this.
Gavin Harrison is absolutely on fire on this record.
The next track up is my favorite PT track. ❤

You read my mind! This is exactly what I plan to do with this album. And... I may already have my reaction to Anesthetize recorded 😏
The other songs are kinda nice aswell, but the reason why people ask for this album is "Anesthetise".... have fun with that =)
You should also listen to PT’s newest album Closure Continuation 😊
This is one of my absolute favourite albums, but the live versions of all these songs is even better.

One of my fav album ever and my fav band💙. Anyway, all of their album are fire. Are you going to see them live now?😅
If I get the chance to I ABSOLUTELY will go see them live!
The new album is far better than anything they've done before.
