- The jukebox in the corner immediately catches Paula’s attention on her first day in Victor’s hair salon. The music is a welcome escape since her new boss hardly speaks at all. But when Paula starts to search for the reasons behind his silence, she soon wishes she hadn’t taken the position at all.

The smell of shampoo and cigarettes hangs in the air. The hair buns tear at the scalp and the newest hits play on a small radio. It’s the golden 50ies and Victor has his hair salon in perfect order - or so it seems. Because from her first day at the new job, Paula just can’t take her eyes off the strange jukebox in the corner. She senses that the machine is somehow connected to a dark secret. As Paula starts to take a deeper look at it, she doesn’t understand that her own life is on the line.

The atmosphere was flawless ! It actually looked straight out of the mid century. Just outstanding attention to detail .
The antiquated Old Testament/Native American superstition that keeps me from taking a scissor to the hair on my head and chin has officially evolved from mere superstition to obsession. And I'm far too old now to consider working in any administrative/janitorial role for a hairdresser, but if I were still young enough to pull off such a posting, that film would certainly have scared the possibility straight out of me.
And jukeboxes - I don't think I'll ever use one again. In color or black and white. With a regular coin or one offered to me by a mannequin. The whole thing just seems like a terrible idea.
That all being said, that was one good little horror film! Kudos all 'round to the writer, crew and actors involved.
Congratulations, great work!
