People seriously need to stop harassing service workers like this, their jobs are already hard enough, why do people insist on doing everything possible to make it worse for them??
Thing is, people like this tend to come from families who treat each other like s**t and/or don't care about them, which is why it's easy for them to treat other people like s**t. Its a harsh reality, but ultimately you just gotta ignore these type of people and leave them to their own self destruction.
Hello this was a random video in my feed but I genuinely enjoyed the content and so I am now commenting despite not actually having much to add to boost the algorithm! While I’ve never worked in any food service job, I have worked retail pharmacy in the US…and dear lord did Covid make that hell on earth. People complained about service quality dropping while knowing that we were short staffed, and had more duties than ever before. And the funniest part about it is…our service quality according to our statistics didn’t even drop. But the standards of others sure has gotten higher. Medicine isn’t like chipotle. You usually can’t just ask for an extra helping of your Zoloft (there are situations where you can if needed get early refills or a longer day supply but you get what I mean). But people were acting as if we WERE food service and did have this power to give them more because they “pay our salaries” by coming there. So uh. Yeah. Horrifically this is not chipotle specific. Also even if shrinkflation has occurred at chipotle? Why are you mad at the guy following company policies and not the policy maker.
I just found your channel and clicked on your video and I assumed you’d be a huge TH-camr but after looking I think that you deserve a lot more praise! And I really enjoy your informative videos!
I can't speak on whether or not there was any race related issue in that one video but will say... A lot of places WILL force you to pay first when they think you might not pay. Whether it's skin color, how you're dressed... idk. But I have seen a lot of places having weird instances where someone is told to pay first before getting anything while others did not pay before getting their stuff.

Ikr. Like they're just doing what they're told most the time and are tired of people's shit
Treat workers like you would want yourself or your family treated by people.
Exactly!

I can see that happening. It could also just have something to do with coincidence, like they just decided randomly
