Oceanview with balcony - handicap accessible cabin

This is an oceanview with balcony handicapped accessible stateroom on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. Our cabin was 14166 and I believe the category was 1D. We booked a guarantee balcony and received this cabin assignment. With a toddler, the extra space was a nice benefit.

Ocean view and Ocean view balcony are two different things. RC specifies ocean view balcony rooms that way so it can distinguish them from other balcony rooms such as the ones overlooking Central Park on some ships.

@@karmeg400 yes but Royal also has Central Park and Boardwalk view balconies so now the specify ocean view balconies.

I’ve been assigned one before as well. It happens if no one requests it and it’s basically a “leftover” and available.

My wife is also confined to a chair and neither of us would have a problem with this-If the rooms are not being used by HC folks, what’s the harm? Better that the cabin in being used and some deserving family gets a little extra room to breathe!
