Tbh here the lighter cubes are cheaper then torch fuel. Idk just seems like your trading one cost for another.
    Great vid though

Great idea with the dome to funnel the ashes. Have you ever just left it in for just when you use the bottom basket for smoking?

I love the dome idea so much it’s in there 100% of the time. Use it for both hot and fast and low and slow. I never have to clean the bottom of the grill!

    Hi,
Question: It does make sense to buy a Oklahoma Joe's Bronco cooker after getting a Kamado Big Joe and a Traeger Timberline 1300? Can the Bronco makes better cooking than these? Thank you

Idk if it makes sense to own both. But I’ll say the reason I like the bronco is because it’s easy to adjust the temperature if you overshoot. On the ceramic cookers, it will be much more difficult because they’re so well insulated.

I was using my pellet grill for about a year and decided to get rid of it after my first bite off the OKJ. You just can’t get the same flavor off a pellet grill. Not even close. I was also not a fan of the possibility of a flameout. It almost happened to me if my temp probes didn’t alert me of a sudden temp drop. It would have certainly set my porch and likely house on fire. Not a fan after that

    Interesting hacks❗️
I’m curious about the temp control you have come up with. Would like for you to go into a little more depth on it.
Name, where to find, accuracy, etc. Also name of temp probes and where you found them.

Hi. The automated temp controllers are very accurate. They work very well, as long as you properly light your charcoal. You can’t dump a chimney full of lit charcoal for low and slow cooking. Light a few coals on one side and the controller will do the rest. I linked out to a few options in my description. There’s a simple and cheap one and then there’s a WiFi enabled one with meat temperature probes. Here are the links again:

Great hacks, quick question; is there a Rotisserie feature for the Bronco Drum Smoker? Any thoughts on it? Let me know, Thanks...

You can use ones made for the 18 inch Weber or Kamado like the these (keep in mind, you'll have to use a separate Weber lid, if you want to close them):
