Mechanics hate this company and these videos that they make. I mentioned FCP Euro tour shop and they got infuriated. I’m guessing they’re losing money because of it.
Can you explain why there appears to be no rhyme or reason to how the newly drilled holes are located around the crank? My mind is telling me this could affect the timing as the tooth orientation will most likely be different from the original hub that was removed…. Or does the crank hub tooth orientation around the crank shaft not matter? Why?
I've been considering this upgrade for some time now.....and now I know I'll be taking it to the shop to get it done....lol
A little late to the game lol, but still glad to see your top notch DIY.

Thank you sir.good knowledge
can we GET A b58 oil filter video?
Gareth I need your expertise to fix my f30 🙏🏼 please Obi one Foley your my only hope
I'd never go with a pinned hub. I'm buying the Vargas splined hub. There's a reason why your driveshafts have splines and not pinns.
Bmws come with oil leaks as a standard option from factory 😂😂😂
Really? Because they charged me extra to install mine as a package🤔
How can something standard be an option?
I wish you guys had the kit for sale without the crankhub, because I already bought a SSR crankhub and just need the gaskets and fluids
Good stuff. Love this guy. Just watch the s54 lifter lashes and now this. Haha
Please add subtitel
Just went electric. F all these oil leaks, planned obsolescence, outrageous parts cost. I was absolutely sick of supporting the German economy. 😂😂😂
Who is gonna tell him ?
Imagine buying a 80 thousand dollar car and then finding out modding it is risky unlesss you spend another 5k to make it reliable, L for BMW
Never seen one fail on a stock or modded s55. Issue is way over blown .
@@lukez1729 As is N55 rod bearing failure I believe.
Modding a car always carries risk
If you're not willing to take it, or pay extra to do preventative maintenance this game isn't for you
@@ThatBMWGuy-i3g yea i agree, IMO all engine starting from s54 need rod bearings as a service item.
@@lukez1729 I'm saying I believe N55 rod bearing issues are overblown. S54 needs bearing for sure.
