    Nicely done! This lesson fills a need for players in other styles, hoping to get a foothold in jazz.

      Thanks so much for taking a look at it. Yes, a lot of my students fall into that category, I help folks fill in the gaps. :) - Susan Palmer of LeadCatPress.com Cheers!

    First time I have seen one of your videos. You play so smooth. Sounds great. And I wish my dog was that mellow.

      Just watched it again and going to try your lesson this afternoon. What model guitar is that you are using?

      Cool, I made these videos for my students and I'm always glad to hear when others find them helpful. I'm playing a 1959 Fender Musicmaster.

      @@leadcatpress I thought it was a single pick up Duo Sonic. That guitar really sounds nice. As far as your lesson. I am not doing that good. I think I am more of a pick player. I am starting to get it though. I have only been playing a couple years.

      @@garyp5522 Yeah, I'm a pick player too, which is what I use in this video, along with some occasional finger picking which makes it all fall under the hybrid picking umbrella. I think the deal with Duo Sonics is that they all have 2 pickups (Duo) and Musicmasters all have just one. I'm sure your teacher can help you pull out some of these ideas in this video, I use it with my students at all levels.

    Nice, Joe's blues playing, the movement or voice leading, is endlessly interesting to me; let alone his more virtuoso standard CM solos.

    Clear and helpful, thank you. The guitar is very cook, looks a bit like a Fender Duo Sonic.

      I don't think I included any chord subs on this one because this video is for beginners. You may want to go directly to the source: amzn.to/3UCse4M #ad

    Thats an odd bridge for that guitar. Is it a telecaster bridge?

    • @leadcatpress
      @leadcatpress  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have no idea; I'm not an expert on bridges but I''m sure my guitar tech knows (and may have mentioned it to me when I've had work done on it.) Sorry I can't be of more help here!
