as someone who aspires to one day fool myself into believing I understand hegel, this was very enjoyable
:D
Well, that escalated quickly.
I left my two Hegel books in my car and it was broken into, worse, they left another Hegel book.

the algorythm knows me and I don't like it
The sticks tied to the axe signify togetherness in action. Like how link gets help from sages and spirits to stomp his boot on the back of Ganon's head
Hegel didnt say thesis antithesis synthesis. He criticised fichte’s formulation as such to be too simplistic
However it might misrepresent Hegel's dialectic (and I wouldn't know; I studiously avoid reading Hegel), it quite effectively represents the natural progression of Hegelianism (derogatory). Marvelously done!
note: just a joke. Some of my best friends are Hegelians, I swear.
This really Hegels my Legend of Zelda
im currently gooning to you
Great video! Unfortunately it perpetuates the myth that Hegel came up with Thesis, Antithesis, and synthesis. It was actually by Johann Fichte, and Hegels critique of Fichte is why we make this assumption nowadays
@@wooju08 i wonder what the joke of the video is
Commenting for the algorithm bc this needs to be seen by far more people
omg link being the synthesis is perfect
yea, but to be clear the contradictions are immanent, that's why hegel's "method" is immanent critique, so you have one concept that already contains all of the movements.
i saw the word critique and thought of bruno bauer and then laughed so hard i pissed myself in the middle of the arbys
I don’t know why this was recommended to me but… I want other people to see it now 😊

youre my favorite gangstalker btw
Well, this is not what Hegel says but entertaining video nonetheless :))
@@byronfoodjikla i wonder what the bit of the video is.....
@@Red42irl considering the video has other, more overt bits and that this is an ever-present misconception, there really isn't much o a way for anyone without further context to figure out that this is supposed to be a bit, and the video is clearly going beyond people who have watched more of your stuff. Point being it is probably good feedback : p
@@Red42irlWith all good intentions, the description states that you aim to “explain philosophy”, so I thought I should point it out for future reference. If the video is intended as a parody, then that should be stated instead, as to avoid misconceptions about the theories being presented.
...uh, ok?
