It's probably bc of their hair color, they can't put a purple cat for Mafuyu but they can make it a black cat. Mizuki's fur has a pinkish undertone similar to her hair, Ena's is brown, Kade is white with blue undertones, and Meiko's is her hair color but slightly lighter (probably to not make her copy Ena's)

Obv they aren’t cats in it, but they resemble the actual members of the group this song is made by. The white cat with pink eyes that’s the main singer=Mizuki Akiyama.
