Thank you your tips, I will be going to the fabric store to get some satin. You're very informative and I truly appreciate all the things you've taught me. Many Blessings to you and your son. God Bless you.
Wet detangling is a no no for me, i have to do it dry, my hair knots up more when wet. So i just dry detangle with coconut oil. I get less breakage that way.
M.B.K- MY BROTHER'S KEEPER yes the fingers are the bomb lol I have to use the comb after I finger detangle in the shower now. It helps get more shed hair out
Wonderful information, I have to try the goats milk treatment as a soft protein. Instead of the henna tea spritz I made a fenugreek/marshmallow spritz for strength and moisture balance. Loving it, recipe video is on my channel, and my using it video is coming up.
I bun 6 days out of 7 and I have between tailbone and classic (bum) length. Only on wash day my hair is "out", but still clipped up curly girl style for air drying. I love my buns and I have special (2 prong) hair forks for securing them with the least amount of damage. I love my buns & forks.
Buns are definitely the way to go. i love how easy and low manipulation they are. I have forks and all sorts of accessories too but lately its just been my PuffCuff...another video but i'm so backed up with doing videos and with surgery coming I'm not sure when I'll get them up. I will likely vlog a little of our experience before and after surgery. Will see.
Not everyone can detangle on damp hair. I know I can't it makes it more difficult to detangle. I detangle with my fingers and oils. Everyone's texture is different and what works for someone may not be the best method for everyone else. 😘
These are things Ive done to get me to mid back length & Im 4b/4c so I know they work... shooting for waist length in 6 months 😌Gonna video challenge on here to keep me on my A game lol
Perfect Imperfections Godspeed with that 6 months! I’ve been going to waist length for like 6 years lol! I was getting close then cut it l3 Times. Going to see what happens this next time around
Great tips sis! ❤️❤️❤️I'm glad to know I was doing most of these...didn't really know it was good for length retention...it was just because my hair being fine I just automatically handle with care...like lace.🌸
curls_lover11 _ I did one not too long ago. It was my “starter kit” but it’s grown tremendously so I will do an update. I will likely take some time to do it though since my son is scheduled for surgery next week
uggghhh i really want to start to protective style like i really want to do like one curly braid i think that is really cute but my hair is not quite there yet i need about 2 more inches but i want to get it before school starts and i only have one month but with my length i can still just put it in a bun so its ok
Great information!!! Please give details regarding the comb you displayed. You and your family are in my prayers. God will take care of CJ. His surgery and recovery will be successful!
mjgarner123 thanks so much. I just can’t wait for it to be over so he can come home. I don’t remember where I got the seamless comb. Do a search on Google. You will likely find something like it. They have ones with handles too
Angela Roberson ahh well this one has served me well. If ever in the market for a new one, I will keep this in mind...although I think I want to try a wooden seamless as well
What about it? That’s not what this particular video is about. Plus density is typically genetic. Most ppl’s length issues can be impacted by doing certain things
Kiss 3 n 1 detangle comb is bomb only 4 bucks at walmart. Easy to detangle with and you won't lose your hair. I have mid back close to waist length natural hair. Type 4a4b and i use it on my daughter who is 4c. I might make video on this comb to help my other natural girls!
I put away all my wide tooth combs. I thought the "wet brush" was a hype and a fad, but OMG it is amazing, doesn't tug, doesn't pull at the scalp and is so much gentler than a comb on damp hair. I now also no longer use my wide tooth comb for dry detangling pre wash, just use my Tangle Teezer pre-wash and my Wet Brush post-wash (damp hair). And it is amazing. Trust me, I was the most hesitant person on the planet for the Wet Brush, because I thought what the heck is that gonna do, but it is *amazing* truly amazing!
i actually started using the tangle teezer for thick curly hair about a month ago. I have some thoughts on that i will share but probably not until April. My son's surgery is next week so I'll be out of pocket
usually i do full strength treatments quarterly. i'm way over due but will have to make time for it before my son's surgery next week or God knows when I'll be able to do it
Thanks for the advice
The gray is so pretty on you.
Write 2 Inspire thank you :)
I am glad I found your channel so useful 😍
Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Thank you for these tips!
Hi. Aloe vera juice works well with detangling.

Reesie 122 YW and thank you!
Great video! I need to go back to trying protective styles but I’dis them so much in the past that I never really enjoyed my hair.
Razorempress girl u know what u mean. I think I just do them mainly because I’m lazy!

Lirrulewon yeah some ppl prefer dry. When I say wet I actually mean damp
Awesome video and great tips for all types of hair. I basically use my fingers for combing my hair, less stress of tension pulling.

Nap Freedom215 oh I will have to try that. Will have to order some marshmallow root though.

Great, you do what you can do! More we can't ask for. Thanks for doing your videos!
That's great, but buns causes my hair to tangle and break.
Great video, love your necklace
thank you :)
Adding oil to my ends is the only way that's effective for me to retain length.
Great tips, just subscribed 🤗

Does henna color your hair.
Tina Mcclain yes but it’s most visible on gray hair or light colored hair. Dark hair it looks more like a tint
Where did you get the comb?
Ilicia Gordon that I don’t remember but you can definitely get seamless combs on Amazon

You look beautiful 😊
Paul Mitchell has a seamless comb with wider teeth and much cheaper
Angela Roberson ahh well this one has served me well. If ever in the market for a new one, I will keep this in mind...although I think I want to try a wooden seamless as well
What about density? Everyone talks about length but I’d you have length with low density you’re defeating the purpose.

$30 seamless comb?? Hmm...
