Hahah, We all love the hats Stephen. I'm at a place where I'm just starting to define my style, but I think what you said is really true. Drawing from life and studying real life was probably the thing that helped me the most. Although I think imitation is part of the process as well, when you copy for favorite artists you build up your visual vocabulary.

Hi Stephen here is something i find alot and also find frustrating, When doing designs for companies and studios i find that the stuff i send tends to be liked but they always want it to be made much more generic and (to me) slightly more boring so that its more like other shows, is this just a fear of studios to take risks or maybe shock of seeing something they did not expect ?
I have found this to be very common and its simply a matter of indecision and afraid what will happen. they say they want different but they really don't
