I just put Vietnam on my list of places I want to visit. I was too afraid due to crazy traffic and Vietnams past tragic history. It is a shame I wanted to come to Da Nang in October but I am told that is rainy/typhoon season. But I plan to come in a few months time. Da Nang looks like somewhere I could live and just about ride a scooter LOL. I lived in Chiang Mai for 9 months. It seems to have the same small city feel with the added bonus of several amazing beaches and places to visit less than 2 hours away.
