Dani I want you to react also in Binibining Pilipinas coz i was there in coronation night and the girls were all amazing and there were many repeaters who did not advance that made us disheartened
MUT Thailand always deliver. All of the contestants are gorgeous. Kudos to the new queen, she deserved the crown. Thanks Dani for this recap. Be safe always. Cheers.
MUT 18 Eye-Kanyalak was definitely my favorite! I’ve been rooting for her since her swimsuit performance at the beach earlier last month. She has got the look, the walk, and the stage presence to be a great contender at the Miss Universe stage. Her look and her stage attitude reminds me of the iconic Miss Venezuela 2018 Steffany Gutierrez, who is one of my most favorite Miss Universe contestants ever. Eye-Kanyalak is only 22 and I really hope that she comes back next year or a few years in the future. She has got everything it takes to bring the MU crown back to Thailand, she just needs to improve her public speaking abilities along with her Q&A and she’ll ready for that MUT crown. I will be following her progress in the next few years, to say that I’m obsessed is an understatement. My dream is to have her represent my country at MU, she represent the exotic Thai/Southeast Asian look that would be iconic on the MU stage just like how Stefanny was. Great review once again Dani!
Not only Anna has strong performance and great speaking skills, she's very kind and positive. Her story is really inspirational (born in a poor garbage collector family, but fought her way up to success without giving up). Therefore, English is her no.1 weakness that a lot of people criticize about. However, I think it's what make her a true inspiration to many Thais as she's a very typical thai who dont speak much English. The past few years winners are all mix race or raised overseas and many people feel like if you're a typical Thai that don't speak English, you won't be able to win. Anna just proved otherwise.
It is not that if you are a typical Thai you won’t be able to get crowned. Most of the time, some Thai contestant are not even being critical enough to make them stand out in terms of answering a question. It also isn’t about an English skills that TPN seek but also a content of what the contestant tries to convey. If a typical Thai can’t win, well then why we have Opal in the top 5 right. No question Anna got crowned because of her performance as well as her being very articulate about education. However, the way she answers question isn’t very universal, only Thais understand. Her answer was just plain weak and lack critical message but the overall is just better than the 1st runner up with that performance. (And of course, her background)
@@NemesisSissy Opal went to an international school for almost all her life and she's more comfortable with answering in English than Thai. What I mean by 'typical thai' is not the look, but education and exposure to international cultures.
@@pitschno well said… for the most part it’s the education and exposure to global. Anna’s exposure seems to be limited and her focus is to study, besides beauty focus. P.S. I wouldn’t say she didn’t deserve the crown.
Hello from Thailand 🇹🇭. Thank you 🙏 and I love your recap. Anna can speak English in a communication level but now she is practicing more and learn everyday before she’s going to MU.
MUTs 18 and 19 were my faves during prelims. MUT 18 really reminds me of my fave MUT title holder 2016. Stunning! Number 19 had a huge chance of getting in the top 5. She is gorgeous 👼❤️🥰💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🥂
Here's a brief summary of their Thai answers in the first round: MUT19 (Anna, the winner) : I would put the money in the education box because I believe that education is the starting point of everything. It also enables you to understand the public health and environment. I want to encourage the relevant state sectors to improve the education system. I believe the education can help improve and develop the country. MUT18 (Eye, the 2nd runner-up) : I would pick the teaching equipments, especially in the technology fields. Because there are many underprivileged children out there who don't have access to this (tech equipments). Therefore, if the social inequality can be leveraged many Thai children will have access to a better education.
Dani-No.31 won Miss Intercontinental 2014 before as she was the third runner up of Miss Grand Thailand that year, she also made top 5 at Miss Universe Thailand 2019 th-cam.com/video/tsNqGVg38cU/w-d-xo.html No.16 was a runner up at Miss World 2018. She was a top fan favorite to win the crown but then she couldn’t make it th-cam.com/video/T8q16KIWpWI/w-d-xo.html No.19 TOP5 Answer: I would choose education, because education is foundation for everything .Education can enable us to learn and gain knowledge in many areas including environment, and health issue. I want everyone to pay attention to education and all relevant agencies should invest and assist in education Final Answer: I would like to tell you that you are not only one who has ever felt disheartened, I am one of them. I would like everyone to know that we can all learn to adjust and adapt ourselves. If we fail, we can also stand up, therefore, whatever situation you are facing, you have to be very confident in yourself. If I can do it, so can you. She was able to win the crown because of her strong performance as well as her background. She grew up in a poor family, her parents worked in garbage collection field. Her mom worked in three different jobs to send her to university until she graduated with highest honor
Given her background she has likely learned a strong work ethic. She'll bring that with her to her MU preparation. Hopefully her team will invest in some English lessons so she can impress in interview, host interaction and Q&A as much as she does on the runway. Strong choice. We should expect her to do well at MU as she has all the skills.
This year’s MUT gowns are super extra fabulous and spectacular and so as the candidates. And they’re prizes, wow! Very generous and life changing for sure 🥰🙏🏽🥂
I’m so happy with this video. I’m from the Philippines but during MUT, I was fully supporting Anna and I was so happy she won. My heart is with Celeste obviously but I wouldn’t mind Anna winning. The feelings I have had with Anna was the same feelings I felt when Veena Singh joined. I hope that MUO announces already when and where will the edition happen so we can prepare. Are you planning to watch the live telecast of MU this year Dani? And can you please make a video talking about the current standings of the candidates and showing the Top 10 you think who would be shoe-ins on the finale? Much love Dani!
Anna’s top 5 answer: Everyone knows that education is the beginning of everything. Education makes us learn more whether it's a public environment or anything else. It starts with education, so Anna wants everyone to pay attention. Let all departments pay attention to education more because Anna believes that education but develops the country to develop knowledge of all students. Thank you.
16's and 19's gown is from the same designer Valentier, they made Amanda MU 2020 golden gown for preliminary. 10's gown is from Oat-couture, they made the blue gown for Amanda MU 2020 final. This year contestants' answers didn't wow me but last year title holder's speech almost made my tear ducts run. Thanks for the recap Dani.
your thoughts regarding english speaking skills (particularly when interacting with host) impacting overall impression & perhaps placement are spot on. i think a perfect example was miss universe vietnam 2018, who admirably communicated exclusively in english on finals night, but in my opinion could’ve easily been top 3 if muo & the judges that night felt her english skills were good enough to sustain through the year as a potential miss universe.
In the final question (same for all 3 finalists): MUT19 (Anna): I would encourage everyone not to feel that way. I had also been there (being depressed and hopeless). But we can adapt and adjust. We can pick ourselves up when we fall. We must believe in ourselves and stay strong. If I can do it, so can you. MUT18 (Eye): I want everyone to understand that it is part of our lives and we can't avoid it. We will always face problems in life, but we must get through it. When I was young I had been through a lot. If I can do it, so can you.
Thank you for the recap and your honest reaction Dani, looking fabulous as always. I have to admit that Eye was my favorite since day 1 of MUT 2022. I knew this girl has a lot of potentials the moment I saw her. There's just something about her that fascinates me. She has this beautiful aura and captivating quality. Always projecting fun, positive and humble attitude both on and off stage. With her contagious smile, infectious personality and natural beauty, she got me totally hooked. She has the perfect height, a figure to die for, gorgeous skin tone and even her silky smooth voice is pleasing to the ears. For me she's the exotic version of Aphrodite, truly beautiful and mesmerizing. She was hands down the best performer that night both in swimsuit and evening gown. Her stage presence was impeccable and her pasarela was just next level. The Q&A was perhaps her Achilles' heel but even so, she should've at least be in the top 2 since she delivered a strong performance. I just hope that I could see her compete on international level in the near future. She would definitely slay. Thailand is so blessed to have her and hopefully they'll put her talent and potentials to good use. Anna was also my favorite to win the crown as she is also a beautiful person, inside and out. Her background story and humble beginnings are exceptionally inspirational and uplifting. As far as I'm concerned both are truly deserving winners and I'm happy that one of them won MUT 2022.
MUT 18 is very pretty. BUT she resembles Chalita Suansane (Miss Universe Thailand 2016). Early on, I didn't think MUT will crown a past queen look-alike. But she is very gorgeous! MUT 31 already represented Thailand internationally. In fact, she won Miss Intercontinental 2014. The eventual winner, Anna, was actually trained by a Filipino--RL Lacanienta (one of my close friends in the pageant industry)--he also was the trainer of Gabrielle Basiano who eventually won Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022.
Thank you so much for recap MUT. I like your opinion so much it’s very useful.Anna will learn English more and she said that she will keep learning and prepare herself in order to make Thai ppl proud.
Hi Dani, love your video. we would love to see you do a vlog about your thoughts of extreme facial surgical enhancement. I’m just shocked to see some contestants look so different from before and almost like Latina. Thanks 🙏
It is revealed that from Top 3 the final question played no role in selecting or placing the winner and the runner up. The judges were asked to vote between the top three candidates who they thought should receive the crown without taking the final answer into consideration.
If you haven’t get the translation from MUT 19. Here the answer of MUT 19. I m apologize in advance for my English as I still got limited in English. MUT19#She chosen Education. Because she believes that’s everything almost started or depends on education. And If the people in the country have the right or good education , you will be able to know , learn or understand the public health and the environment also. And she wants the government ( Ministry Departmental of education ) to give more important to education . And she believes only the education will make the country to be in the better place.
#31 is already a beauty pageant titleholder pattaraporn wang (first wang) she competed in Miss Intercontinental 2014 and won the first crown for Thailand. She is a pageant veteran ever since.
No. 31 used to compete in miss grand thailand where she's won one of the title to represent Thailand at Miss Intercontinental in 2014 & she won the crown. I think she's just 18 or 19 yrs old when she won
14:36 -- Agree with you that a translator should also be available during the top 15 or top 20 announcement and interactions. The challenges were evident in the 2016 and 2018 editions.
I'll give a brief translation to Anna's top 5 Q&A.. she said she would pick education because education serves as a strong foundation for all knowledge and if you have a good education you can educate more about the environment and public health.. She's got an interesting story though coming from an underpriviledged background, but managed to graduate with honors from a top university. She says she will have to work on her English but has some basic knowledge. I personally rooted for Nicolene, first runner up as she had a lot of pageant experience having been first runner up of Miss World 2018 and speaks English as a first language having been raised in the US. However I think Anna will still be trained well and hopeful for her to place at least top 10 in MU 2022
@@DaniWalker omg you answered me. Thank you very much. I just checked the price. The one i bought for my older sister is 2 times more expansive than yours, but the quality is absolutely not as good as yours. I will consider to buy a new one too. Thank you again.
Here is Anna’s #19 the winner speech translation ; she chose EDUCATION.(which you wish for) Education is the basement of everything. One could be able to learn about environment, publicity, or many more if there is a strong education facility. From my perspective, attention should be given to education attentively. I wish every faculties and organisations put education first in any criteria. Because education influences the bright future for the new generation and moves the country forward.
Yes miss Dani, they should bring translator when they have to interact with the host. Because it’s not easy, and generally to me, language should not be that much of a barrier in the pageants. Thank you so much for this video.
This year's MUT Winner Anna, is STUNNING . MUP Winner Celeste is facing major competition. This could be the year Asia will dominate the Top 2 positions.
That was a beautiful answer by #23. As a breast cancer survivor myself, Too many wonderful women have been taken by this dreadful disgusting vile disease. It makes me angry to even think about it.
I think 19 lookslike Steffi from MUP on younger and less performer vibes idk she's giving me the same looks and presence i hope she could enhanced her pasarela and transitions but yeah, deserving!
First of all I do respect for your opinion. Do you know Most of contestant in Miss Universe ether. They born or raised in the US Went back to their mothers land when it’s time for them to be in competition. But they represent the original country. If the judges judge that they only wanted someone flaunt English only will score I think that’s low. They should score if the answer was right. No matter what’s language is. That’s all. To have translators there .Will be best. No need to speak English to be miss universe. You have questions . They answer. And answer right. That’s all it is.
I wonder if dani walker sees I would love to see her react to other countries miss universe I would love to hear her thoughts on miss universe Myanmar which will happen this year
This is the summary of #19’s answer She would put money in the education box because she believes education helps people understand the values of public health and the environment. Because without education it’s harder for people to fully understand and have access to knowledge of public health and the environment” :)))
Nicolene already got $28,000 US dollars gift from sponsors on Prelim night. They gave out other gift to other candidates as well that night, probably total to around $100,000 dollars or more just for preliminary night. Ann the winner got $$$$, car, condo, and probably contract for commercial. I’m sure all top 5, got contract for advertisement jobs by sponsors. There are like more than 15 -20 sponsors with MUT…. That’s why they can be generous every year….
Unfortunately Anna speaks limited English. Let’s say if she travels aboard for pleasure, I believe it’s fine. However, I beg the team to use translator as much as possible. This is probably the only video of Anna speaking English. At 3.30 onward, th-cam.com/video/iFUBUT1r_Oc/w-d-xo.html
9: 30 No offense meant but, as a guy, I do find it slightly uneasy (I'm trying to be tactful and nice) when some of the ladies wore gowns that almost reveal their top-mid section. I do wish they would wear more modest ones just as the other candidates din. Again I do not mean to be conservative here. Nothing wrong with being flashy, glam and fab but it can still be achieved with lesser forms.
Does anybody kind of sensing a bit a of a Miss Grand performance from most of the ladies? Miss U is a totally different vibe. Though I still love and support Thailand.just need them to be careful and show a Queen performance. Not Grand.
There is no way she will win at miss universe. She does not stand out with her beauty, she’ll blend into the back. What happened to MUT 31, thought for sure she will be in top 5.
Anna mut 2022 final asnwer english translate "I just want to tell you all that you are not the only one who has ever felt hopeless and tired. Me too, I am one of you who has ever felt that way. However, I want you guys to know that we can adapt and adjust ourselves. Learn how to rise when we fall. So, whatever situation you are facing, believe in yourself that you can handle it, if I ever did,I believe you can do it too"

I personally rooted for Nicolene, first runner up as she had a lot of pageant experience having been first runner up of Miss World 2018 and speaks English as a first language having been raised in the US. However I think Anna will still be trained well and hopeful for her to place at least top 10 in MU 2022
Omg, 99K now❤️❤️❤️
Wow you look so fresh and younger..
That lipstick is the right one for you 🥰
Thank you ☺️💕
dani fyi mut no 19 ann the one with a red gown is trained by a Filipino coach and also the coach of mu thailand 2019..
Support you from Thailand ❤
Number 31 From Miss Grand , and she already won Miss Intercontinental
Hi nice recap, may I know what camera are you using for the filming yourself? It looks so clear beautiful image.
Yes it's the Sony ZV1 :)
Go go go Miss Thailand 🇹🇭 make the best of it in the Miss Universe 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dani when are u gonna do binibining Pilipinas?
Yes miss Dani, they should bring translator when they have to interact with the host. Because it’s not easy, and generally to me, language should not be that much of a barrier in the pageants. Thank you so much for this video.
When are you Going to React to the next Binibining Pilipinas 2022
Very soon! :)
Making a video what is the strongest Asian candidate in miss universe ❤️❤️
You look so beautiful in this video. 😘
This year's MUT Winner Anna, is STUNNING . MUP Winner Celeste is facing major competition. This could be the year Asia will dominate the Top 2 positions.
The white gown of 23 was my favorite, pageant 101 or not. 😁
That was a beautiful answer by #23. As a breast cancer survivor myself, Too many wonderful women have been taken by this dreadful disgusting vile disease. It makes me angry to even think about it.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
MUT18😍😍👏🏼
Anna turned out to be a dark horse gives us Catriona vibes 😭😭
She looks similar to Heidi Jensen miss grand thailand Phuket …
I think 19 lookslike Steffi from MUP on younger and less performer vibes idk she's giving me the same looks and presence i hope she could enhanced her pasarela and transitions but yeah, deserving!
Ann remind me of Heidi Jensen miss grand thailand Phuket
She’s the strongest delegate from South East Asia
how about Binibining Pilipinas Dani
I want you to react also to Binibining Pilipinas coz I have been there personally in the coronation night
Working on the edit :)
First of all I do respect for your opinion.
Do you know Most of contestant in Miss Universe ether. They born or raised in the US
Went back to their mothers land when it’s time for them to be in competition.
But they represent the original country.
If the judges judge that they only wanted someone flaunt English only will score
I think that’s low.
They should score if the answer was right.
No matter what’s language is.
That’s all.
To have translators there .Will be best.
No need to speak English to be miss universe.
You have questions . They answer. And answer right. That’s all it is.
Chalita Suansane + Gazini Ganados = Kanyalak Nookaew
Bb. Pilipinas reaction pls
I wonder if dani walker sees I would love to see her react to other countries miss universe I would love to hear her thoughts on miss universe Myanmar which will happen this year
Anna answered put donation in education box because it will lead to public health and environment
This is the summary of #19’s answer
She would put money in the education box because she believes education helps people understand the values of public health and the environment. Because without education it’s harder for people to fully understand and have access to knowledge of public health and the environment” :)))
14:08 -- Holy cow!! ฿1,000,000?! That's equivalent to your US$ 27,000 and to our PhP 1.5 M!! That's a lotta money!!!
The winner in MUT. if who can get the crown. winner will be get money totally around US$180,000
@@wd.dw. OMG!! Wow!!!!
99k!!!
Almost there :)
I think mut need 2 hosts one for translate Thai English or English in Thai .PK can’t do all in whole competition
I'm still waiting for you Binibining Pilipinas reaction, Dani. 😫🤍
Coming very soon!
Not Grand.
Yes.
shes another Anne Thomas clapper
MUT 18 Eye was my favorite and I thought she should've won
She only 22, she said she be back. She can speak english, but with more practice she can win mut crown next time.
There is no way she will win at miss universe. She does not stand out with her beauty, she’ll blend into the back. What happened to MUT 31, thought for sure she will be in top 5.
Yes!! Change the hair. Im a mr nawat style judge and she would not been in top 5 all cause of that 😂
Nicolene is the real winner. She was robbed. Nicolene is Miss World 2018 1st Runner up.
Sorry but Anna is not it she’s more miss international
🇹🇭
#18 was giving me Andrea Meza vibes the entire show.
Eye or Renee should’ve won. The winner…. All I saw was her red lips.
So, whatever situation you are facing, believe in yourself that you can handle it, if I ever did,I believe you can do it too"
18 gave me Chalita vibe honey. Before Gazini we have Chalita from Thailand. Not everything turns around Philippines stop comparing to them.
Not Beauty thailand lip 💋,nose 👃 plastic surgery . Anna
MISS universe Thai 🇹🇭 beautiful Queen ❣️ for another country is sure to win 😂🙂🌍😇
MUT 2022 will make it Top 26 on MU 2022. Good luck.
