Long Distance Hiking in the North East of England.

Trip out to increase our mileage prior to summer backpacking trips. We stopped for lunch n coffee at Seal Sands Seal and birdwatching hide which has recently been replaced with a new timber building which is fantastic.
The distance for the day was around 25km in 6:30hrs, weather was around 9°C spitting to full on showers.
if you're wondering about the white walking sticks, it's because my wife is partially sighted and I'm partially deaf- now all we need to do is make the children silent and we can go for the hat trick!!!
