      @Gryffindor Edits Planners are for busy individuals especially entrepreneurs etc... most women do not use them for business they use them for personal use.

    Thank you for the reviews. I suffer from ADHD. I've been looking for a companion planner to pair with my Passion Planner as a more structured tool. Thx to your review of The High Performance I found it. Following your channel now. Have a blessed 2021.

    Do you have a video on the process or workflow on how you work with assistant who sets your calendar? And how you work that into your paper Calendar?

    • @DoctorBeau
      @DoctorBeau  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      pmexplore she basically adds to my google calendar and then I update the hard copy as needed. My planners , for me, are more of a guiding ship with the ‘big rocks’ of major things and the small ‘rocks’ of daily I have her move around

    As a business woman. I think the high performance planner is to much to do everyday. Also you cant see your week all laid out like the passion planner. The performance one will get confusing after having to fill all that stuff in everyday, where do you easily look for your days , weeks etc. You would need tabs all over. Sometimes the more stuff they throw in a planner just mucks it up. That is my feeling on the performance one. Passion planner , simply laid out, easy to track days and weeks. More creativity of self with passion planner. I also would not care for my year being split up into so many planners. What a pain when your looking for some past information or having to find something quick.
    The 2 planners that i really love are the passion planner or the Hobonichi Cousin. Both have everything in one book. The hobonichi actually gives the best amount of pages. The paper is incredibly light and amazingly bound as a book and lays flat. Once you know how to mind map you can esentially use the method in any planner. Both planners keep my year at my finger tip and go with me everywhere. Simplified my whole life. I used passion planner for 3 years. I have used the hobonichi cousin for 2 years. There are things i love about both. All in all i think a planner should make your day easier, should be an extention of your mind. A tool. Ive tried countless planners, used franklin covey most of my life. Im so busy that i need that right hand kinda planner . everything goes in it. Notes about clients , financial, thoughts, ideas , and complete schedule. I bet you will end up back in the passion planner. Check out the hobonichi sometimes its amazing as well.

    Fantastic video. Although I have not used either of those mentioned the overview was effective. I have gone from using a bullet journal (migrating personal and business) to using Michael Hyatt’s Full Focus Planner. The FFP is also about goal attainment and is a quarterly planner. The multiple planner per year component is an issue for me however it’s effectiveness helps overcome that point.

    Thanks for your thorough review Doc. Your video helped solidify my decision. I spent alot of time and research on planners and I narrowed it down to Panda Weekly and High Performance. I ordered High Performance for many of the same reasons you mentioned.

    great review! One thing I will say though as someone with a cyber security background. Please never store passwords in books like that. If you lost that or if someone glanced over and saw your passwords that is enough for any (even beginner) hacker to ruin your day. Use a website like LastPass to store your passwords so you never have to remember them. It will even generate you random long passwords that are almost impossible to brute force attack. I promise you the $4 a month it costs to use something like LastPass will be better than having someone hack your email or banking info.

    This is great! I've been sorting through tons of planners trying to find one that fits my needs because I'm not so much into the to-do list aspect, but I DO love goal journaling, intention setting, and habit tracking. I've done reviews on other planners like the High Performance Planner and Start Today Planner, but I just recently discovered this new(er) kid on the block that has all of the mindset + goal achievement must’s in one place (without being a big, clunky, 1988-Covey-style planner/scheduler) called the Goal Crazy Planner. Holy smokes! 😍 Have you heard of it?

    The problem with Brendon's is who is going to use 6 different books instead of having the whole year in one book. Not knocking on Brendon himself, but I'm not the person to keep track of 6 or more planners for one year??? Not me. I'm glad you showed me the Passion planner b/c that is the one I will buy instead.

    • @laurants
      @laurants 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just my thoughts: I would be inclined to agree with you but I think the Brendon Planner is for the daily details of work and multiple responsibilities, something to be used in the morning or the the night before. Whereas the Passion Planner is the one to use to schedule in the weeks and months ahead, something you bring into a meeting and what you bring with to plan way ahead of time. Also, if the Brendon Planner was the full year it would be very heavy to carry on a regular basis.

      @@laurants The John Maxwell 2018 Priority Planner was a little bigger (8-1/2 x 11), spiral-bound, but included every day in a week (on two pages). I LOVED IT and it was (keyword...was) the best planner I have ever used. Enough space to write down daily events and appointments, plus a week-in-review and monthly planning. Then Maxwell did a similar thing and converted to 4 Transformational Journals per year. So I hope the Passion planner is all I hoped it will be.

    • @rsm307studios
      @rsm307studios 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mccalljeff I was thinking about my Maxwell planner just last night b/c I was reviewing something from the last year. When Brendon Burchard moved to the 4-volume set, I started to see others do the same. But, seriously??? It's not like John C. Maxwell needs any more wealth added to his kingdom LOL. All this really does is make it highly inconvenient for the people who use these journals daily. I am not going to carry around 4 journals throughout the year when I want to refer back to previous appointments or journal entries. With that being said, I absolutely LOVE my Passion Planner b/c it is one full year and offers so many amazing places for reflection and preparation for the coming week.

    I can't see keeping up with more than one planner. I have always use Franklin Covey but this year I need something more to help me with goals, etc. I am reviewing Momentum Planner, Passion Planner, Dagrontree Planner, Law of Attraction, The Happiness Planner (made for women but I see it being good for me if they can get past the colors), and Bullet Proof it's hard to really decided. Some others I think are good are Inspired, Push Planner (quarterly planners and Daily Greatness. Yeah, I've been researching for one week and I'm still finding it hard to choose. Passion Planner is where I am leaning followed by by Dragontree and The Happiness. I didn't think it was going to be this hard.
