Both Lex and Leo are so polite and kind to kids and adults who wanted photos and took time to spend taking to the Aussies! Congratulations to both teams.
Hopefully, there is a plan on following these boys during their Stanford seasons!!! Leo and Lex are great content....oh wait Irene will be there too... Triple-headed monster or running content!!! ....maybe NIKE should fund this project ;)
Awesome video. I watched the race on a live stream here in the USA and while i watched the entire race, and I really appreciated the camera angles and narration throughout this video! I kept laughing when I heard Lex call out to Leo in the latter parts of the race when he kept telling Leo "I know you are hurting". All I remember at the end was knowing that Leo ran the tactical race of his life in challenging conditions. To see him come down the hill right after the African continent frontrunners was an amazing site. Especially after seeing how far back the USA team was through the first half of the race. Simply amazing and a joy to behold. Let's not forget the U20 USA Women's team who placed 3rd. Also amazing and I believe it was the highest placing by a U20 Women's team! I'll enjoy following USA CC and Track for years to come!
This was epic to watch. As an Aussie who made the trip up to Bathurst, very cool to see from the athletes perspective. Nowhere near as quick, I got to run the course on the Sunday and it was brutal. Seeing so many elites converge on a town like Bathurst was pretty awesome too, such a good vibe around the town the whole weekend.
Very hard they beat the african kids ....they have like 100 or more runners younger with those times...example was bekele that won thae master race with that age ...and uganga is very good at the momment
As a 71 year-old guy, it is pure joy to see Lex, Leo and all the other young runners so dedicated and having so much fun. Thanks!
