This Man has not lost one damn lick in the 52 years since he inspired me to buy my first Marine Band at Main Music for $3.25. Only time I saw chops like this was when Dizzy Gillespie jammed against himself circa 1947. That was the Newport Jazz Festival, 1975. I can pay no greater tribute Corky! You still killin' it!
The Siegal-Schwall fan base was primarily centered in the upper Midwest (Chicago to Madison). Yet, there were some of us out in California that heard about them in publications like "Stereo Review." Then there was William Russo's Three Pieces for Blues Band with the San Fracisco Symphony under Seiji Ozawa.

I have been a huge fan since I saw them at winterland circa 1974 . I have appx 14 of their Vinyl LPs
