Penance, Horn, Mudrock and even Saria will be your go-to unless you have Fiametta. For her you can use Spot, Gummy, Saria. So yeah, no need for Gummy, she is just invincible and has no atk privileges@@ClayChoShow
i would prioritise E2'ing temporary recruitment operators after wisadel since they come with full masteries, max level and a module (if they have one). Ofc this is advice for a new account that has very few built characters.
I'd say the skill tree these game modes offer is less like the usual rpg skill tree and closer to how other roguelikes have done it, the whole each run setting your future runs up to be stronger through permanent passive upgrades or unlocks.
Integrated strategies isn't an RPG, its a rogue-lite. The "skill" tree is more of just a general progression tree that gives permanent, global upgrades to increase your power
Heads up that could have made that Red Mist level a bit less tense: When you had more than enough DP, you should have retreated Myrtle. That way, Gummy would have had 1 less person she was trying to keep alive and could give more heals to the other people that actually need it.
If You ever get to Lucian again, note that He can't be blocked at all, He will simply jump over the Blocked Tile, You need to kill him with some Range. Put W on the High Tile next to Gummy and I She should be able to deal with the Puppets as well as Lucian once he Spawns
Technically he can be blocked. After jumping over the blocked tile, his jump goes on cooldown and he can be blocked for a short time. Do note that this cooldown is quite fast so the benefits of blocking him wouldn’t amount to much, especially since he creates a shadow each time he jumps making the fight harder the more times you try to block him.
Thing to note: Lucian can temporarily be blocked after a teleport, so you can use someone to bait a teleport and then throw some blocker on him. He has physical and arts dodge but loses it when blocked so its gonna allow Wisadel to pump more damage. Alternatively you can use any source of true damage to ignore the dodge (Medic Amiya s2, Caster Amiya s3)
Well, to be more accurate, he can be blocked. However, you need to bait out his dodge first. It has a 15 second cooldown and only leaps 1 tile. So if you bait his dodge and have 2 operators ready to block him, you can hold him still for 30 seconds. And while he is being blocked he loses his physical and arts dodge.
Blocking him can be quite good if you have someone like Nearl alt, Surtr or Skadi. It gives you more dps time to burst the boss down before he break the roadblock. Although with the new units since is2 end, I suspect putting Ascalon in would buy more time.
I wouldn't really call that a skill tree, rather a buff tree because the buffs help a lot in playing IS and it doesn't focus more on a particular skill set, generally it helps any kind of player to progress into the maps easier, as each repeating cycle the player learns more about the maps and get stronger with each run
0:15 Harmonie was, I think, the first 5 star I got in the gacha. Seeing you sing her skill one was pure pain xd But here some info on her, if you ever get her in IS or in gacha. She has way more damage than other casters (my E2 lv20 Amiya has 600 damage, Harmonie E1 lv-I-can’t-remember had 1000+) but her attacks are slower. Nevertheless, she can store her attacks (up to 3 or 4 times) and unload them all on a single target. Harmonie specializes in killing blocked enemies. In E2 she gets a buns against them I think. Her S2 allows her to turn her entire range into an area that slows down the enemy and causes magical damage per second. She will also only target blocked enemies, meaning she will store her charges. But the slow + damage per second is really good on its own.
4:36 The first option literrly says lose 4 hope and max Hope for 10 Life Points. 10 After you lsot basically all you life points, sure with 1 more hope you could get anther six star but 10 life points, for the love of God pls read ;C
What progress! You go the boss, well done. First time I've seen anyone use Harmonie's s1 heh (always s2 for me). Ah yes.. Red Mist stage, no healers no regen? enjoy your deaths. Per usual SKILL LEVELS! get that core team to 7.
2:34 Info for the next time: Suprise factory has like 22 drones, but if you use W skill properly she easily solos most if not all of them, since they come in big waves.
Either you use W or not, it's actually amazing you even reach the Final Boss with only a little permanent buff tree unlock with you. Then again, it's mostly just the lucky RNG of the Relics that you collect for the buff effect.
No it’s mostly W, i can attest to the convenience of blowing all your problem in IS away with W as another 3 months old player. I farm from lv 5 to 155 pretty quickly and i only lost like 5 times when the sprinting lancer got invisibility coincidentally when i only have 2 ground unit and when i fight each is2 boss for the first time. Neither Relics rng nor buffs matters much for me, i didn’t know about the perma buff right up until lv 50 ish and the only impactful buff are candle efficiency increase. There was some semblance of thinking before i unlock “tactical range squad”, after that i was legit just auto piloting it while i binge youtube. Truly braindead gaming😭 and im very grateful for her existence. Edit : actually nvm, i do feel that relics matters when i fight teddy bear/ playwright, mostly for the heals because my best healer is e1 40 warfarin.
Since you don't have many operators built/promoted yet, temporary recruitment are mostly better for you. For example that huohuo, that temporary recruitment has max level e2+module+max level skill. And if you don't have your operators promoted, you don't need to recruit them the second time, like that cuora 6:04 since you won't get anything
@@mejakosuI'm pretty sure is2 boss is the hardest, is3 is pretty easy with E2 ops, is4 is very very hard until u understand the mechanics and have good experience.
@@bravo6going702 Everything became easier with understanding and experience. That said, Is4 bosses are way harder than this boss. This guy moves slowly and easily manageable with bind, slow and unloading all DPS at once on him. A joke compared to things like for eg, that boss who teleports around with perma invincibility and there's like 5 sec window to deal dmg to him periodically. The gap becomes more noticeable at both at max difficulty.
1:16-1:28 ah yes, who would’ve expected that a stage called "Drone Landing Zone" would have a lot of drones, such foul trickery! Truly an EN can’t read moment.
The skill tree does come up tho. It will make some things easy to some extent, but I believe this one is one of those that are well thought of as you are actually going to need it. Especially for players without strong characters. It will become broken with strong characters though like Wis Adel, Logos, and etc.
Yeah for first time players this boss generally sucks if you don't plan to burst him down when he first comes around the chokepoint, even then you still have to burst through that dodge RNG
Congrats on reaching ending 1 on IS2 it will take you time trial and error until you complete your first IS Medal set, then for IS3 I recommend you play first under tides and stultifera Navi’s since it based on the theme , IS4 though it will be brutal on the firsts floors
You did pretty well , the bosses in IS2 are some of the hardest ones from my personal experience you’ll clear it eventually, especially since Lucian is the weakest one of of all the IS2 bosses.
If you have resource to build 4* Perfumer, I highly recommend to build her. She's one best healer with passive global regen that help in many gimmick stage, including ops that can't be healed.
In last battle you should just place W facing right to blast all red pandas and boss before they even have a chance to kick you. And beat other enemies with Ifrit.
IS has been testing my knowledge. I managed to get all the monthly requirements on the theater level. Just leveling up to get the rewards. Kudos on making through the poison level. That one sucks without good healers. Also l noticed you play in 2x speed. If you lower the speed it might help in preparing your units. That's just me though I play in 1x speed.
@ClayChoShow I didn't actually know any better and started with IS4. I'd say give it a couple runs with monthly squads and see the early levels, then give it a go. I think it's the best designed of the three and the one I find most fun. IS3 has an actual skill tree, the kind you want with branches to specialize in different things. They do a good job iterating on stuff as they go.
@@ClayChoShow The IS rewards are more or less permanent. So you're not really missing much. The only thing that goes away when a theme "concludes" is a monthly system that gives a bit more track progress, but it's only worth a few runs worth of points anyway.
@@ClayChoShow IS2 has the least toys to play with (buffs/debuffs) I've always found it harder than both is3 and is4 for dumb reasons (the first floor is particularly vicious to me, if you pass it you usually get far because it's the hardest part of the mode )
Ngl. For a beginner, this is a pretty decent run. I was also losing several times in the past even with a more well built team. Once you get it, you can slowly gather the personel you need from the beginning.
