Omar has a reading order up on his channel! It’s just a couple years out of date. I found a lot of these for $15-$20. That’s how I pieced this together. It started out as “DANG! There are going to be be a lot of those. I’ll just pick up any volume I find for super cheap.” And then as I did that I realized I was only 5-6 volumes from having them all.
With one exception don rosa did use three caballeros and the other two characters with Donald are from the movies . But he loved the combination of those three . I started with don rosa vol 9 and also Carl barks vol 25 . There are both podcast on don rosa and Carl barks duck comics . I’ve bin doing a dive on duck comics , darkwing , Donald , and uncle scrooge.
Oooof! That’s hard. I do like Rosa’s art style better. And because of the nature of the comics at the time, Rosa is able to tell more on going stories. Especially with the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. It’s very close, but I’d have to go with Rosa.
Carl Barks was my intro to comic book collecting. I love his comic books, and still have a few from when I was a kid.

That is one of the reasons I rapidly scooped up the last of these I was still missing!
